This movie is great! Why are most people looking at the bad points? Remember, if you're focusing on the bad points, that's all you're going to see.Focus on th good points, & you'll see loads. All movies have ups & downs, so does this one. You can look at a half full glass in two ways; it is half full or it is half empty. How do you see it? Just my opinion. God bless & t.c.

I don't agree necrotic. There are plenty of errors in the film that have nothing to do with the comics just simple film errors. The movie has a few narative problems some plot issues it goes it against it's own continuity set up in it's own films. If you don't know anything about the origins or your able to distance your self from the comics when watching the movies you'll think it's ok however most people who want things to be closer to the comics are gonna hate it. If your just a plain action junkie who doesn't care that much about depth or plot you'll love it aside from a few CGI issues.

The way i see it is this...if you know the actual origins, you will like it but not love it. If you don't know that much about the origins of the several characters in the film, you'll most likely love it. thats my short and sweet review.I, for one, was in between like and love because while i know the origins of most the characters in the fil. I was upset about all the flaws, yes, but there are so many storylines in the comics that people are forgetting that they can do the same in movies.i will be buying the movie when it comes out hopefully it will have a ton of extra features and deleted scenes of my favorite smartass:)

I always like to keep an eye on second weekend box office to see how word of mouth affects a film.

It certainly wasn't great, but I think your being way to hard on it Psyko. It's was at least semi entertaining better than X3.

I'm disappointed to see this do so well. It was a dreadful movie and I even went in with low expectations and the mindset to give it every benefit of the doubt. They need to learn that we don't want crap. Instead, we pay oodles to go watch just that. 37% is generous.

I don't agree with that at all. I didn't even find her remotely attractive. Halle Berry , Famke Janssen, Anna Paquin, and Rebecca Romijn were all more attractive in my opinion with out actually being all that hot.

Haha, I don't look toward the sex angle either, but Deathstrike was uncommonly hot for a mutant...

She's was the female alternative to Jackman in X2. For the guys,!!!

Meh I didn't find her attractive and for me sex doesn't sell I go to watch movies for their story depth and emotion I don't care if it's full of hot women or just ok looking ones.

I think Star Trek will be successful, but I don't see the box office of it blowing anyone away. I don't see it crossing 250 mil let alone 300. It will be a very succesful film, but it's not record breaker. I'm thinking right around the low 200's maybe mid area.

Regarding Star Trek... Movietickets.com sent me poll results indicating that 32% of the people who responded had NEVER seen a Star Trek movie.

I'll be very interested in how it does.

Yea I didn't mind them killing her off so much because they sort of ruined her character anyway or umm I'm sorry I forgot she didn't have a character. No back story for her no personality nothing she was just a plot device. However X2 was great because not only did it have great action scenes it was far more than a simplistic action film like the first one. There was emotion especially at the end if I wasn't such an amazingly strong mainly man I would of cried ... Cough cough. What?

There all entertaining films Daniel F, I agree that X2 was the best. (By far) almost a perfect superhero film. Almost perfect except they killed off the Deathstrike.
I was very bummed to see her go. :-(

I don't know part of me wanted to see the franchise die some possibly in a few years the could reboot it with Marvel in charge. X1 was ok X2 was amazing, but X3 was god awful and Wolverine was just ok. Not exactly what you would want from an X franchise. Xmen has probably the most potential of any comic property because of it's history and a large amount of classic stories with tons of great characters. It's amazing how fox can come in and drop the ball as massively as they have.

I don't think the leak hurt at all, as most fan based online chatter has been negative yet it still made 87 mil.

I'm beginning to read that Jackman is a big hit with the ladies, and most ladies don't blog...

The good news is that good or bad this will keep the X-Men franchise alive and in the long run that's a good thing. :-)

Specially for Deadpool fans. ;-)

You can't know that for sure. The leak may have had an effect and it may not have I honestly don't believe it hurt it that much at least not the opening weekend numbers. It it has an effect it will more than likely be later. The Opening numbers tend to be people who are amped like crazy for the film and have been waiting to see it. The opening numbers are very unlikely to have been effected at all by the leak.

Trek won't destroy Wolverine though it may just barely beat it out. Wolverine will be hurt by word of mouth. It had a fantastic opening, but lets be honest it wasn't a great film it was Ok. It was better than X3, but not by a mile. Trek if it is as good as it looks will make roughly the same amount little less or a little more. Has a strong enough fanbase to pull in decent numbers and if it's good it will bring in some other people as well, but there are the Trek haters out there who won't see the movie no matter what. So it's limited. Terminator has the potential to be the top earner this year. So far Wolverine is right on track with X2 only slightly ahead, but I think word of mouth is gonna hurt it putting it pretty much dead even with X2.
