WOW! kay, X-Men: The Last Stand wasn’t good. Considering how great the first two films were!

I cant believe some people are rating X-men here but hating transformers????

I dont get it lol

IMO the Xmen trilogy was and abortion of a film, how on earth these college directors get a hold on sacred franchises like xmen and spiderman is beyong me! The Xman trilogy was a pile of garbage!

yeah i got that, i don’t know well i really ignored it cinematically speaking because that was botched the get go. But i thought from the way singer took the characters in the first two, i thought x-3 was a vast improvment. Just a shame though that they felt the need to kill everyone. And i think the tribute to the dark phoenix saga was one of the best parts of the movie

What a whopper? To finally see the awaited sequel of the X-men:the Last Stand was a devastation to watch.I waited for the upcoming movie so long just to watch in horror that Scott a.k.a. Cyclop dies in the movie.Frankly I couldn’t finish the movie because something was missing from the movie.It felt like being given a candy and only to watch being stolen by someone else.

But where do they take the story? “Secret wars”? It would be a little different, if you could get the studios to cooperate. A “Secret Wars” story could bring back the dead from “X-3″.

I am so very angry that Xmen is going straight to dvd. While I admit the 3rd movie was a downer (thanks to fox… i say spend MORE time and MONEY on a movie and get your moneys worth in the end)
the thing i wish for them to do is atleast try to make up for it in a 4th. Straight to DVD?? Most of my time is not spent watching straight to DVD movies. AKA B-movies. Speaking of downers… Spiderman 3 killed me as well. Its a horrible curse that the terrible 3s’ have. Lets hope transformers make a stand. And not their last.

Oh, forgot to mention that the “Direct to DVD” could be awesome. Hopefully the films still get a reasonable budget so that they aren’t totally b grade.

I have to disagree with you on whose fault X3 was. Listening to the commentaries (especially the producer one) i get the impression that Fox let Brett Ratner have a lot of freedom in making this film. That freedom includes the truly disgusting decision to have Rogue take the Cure.

I won’t claim to know the whole story and it is likely you know more of the behind the scenes stuff than i do but i’m laying the blame squarely with Mr Ratner. I’m not saying that he’s a bad director, but X3 was a bad movie and it was his fault.

This sounds good to me as long as these X-men stories don’t suck.

The 3rd X-men film had one of the biggest mistakes in it that I’ve ever seen in a sci-fi film.

Right before the last battle with Magneto on the GG bridge its a sunny day and then next scene its nightime???

Like I didn’t notice…..
Sure the Pryo-technics look better at night but try to work the physics into a more realtime enviromental setting…..or start the battle at night…wtf? Gheeeesh.
