According to Superherohype.com, after having won the People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Female Action Star” Halle Berry was so pleased that fans like her “Storm” character so much that she told them if they really want X-Men 4 to be made, it’s up to them.
Here’s what she said:
“You guys really love X-Men? Ok, here’s what you have to do. Write letters. Every one of you in this building who love X-Men and want to see X-Men 4, write a letter to Tom Rothman at Fox and tell him so and you will get another one, and I’ll be there too.”
Considering how fairly weak X-Men 3 was (yes, I gave it 3 out 5 stars, but I was in a generous mood that day) and the fact that generally speaking, each consecutive sequel in a series gets worse than the previous film, I won’t be blasting any emails off any time soon clamoring for another movie. Maybe if they brought Bryan Singer back to helm it, but he’s probably going to have his hands full with the Superman sequel.
I find it funny that Halle actually won the award considering how awful her performance was in X3. Of course considering the competition was Uma Thurman in My Super Ex-Girlfriend which was no doubt pretty awful and Kate Beckinsale in Underworld: Evolution which had a lot fewer people see it I guess I’m not surprised.

I say forget the X Men films, I am more keen for the spin offs like that of Magneto’s and Wolverine’s.
I don’t know what kind of legs a Magneto movie would have to it, but I’d love to see a Wolverine-only movie. He’s the best thing about the series anyway!

I’m one of the few who don’t want another XMEN. Not unless they promise to focus on a new story arc. They botched the rise of Dark Phoenix.
For those of you who felt insulted by XMEN 3, which except for the insult to the comic arc featuring Dark Phoenix, wasn’t bad, wait until your senses are assaulted by The Rise of The Silver Surfer.
Stewart, I think fortunately for me, I really don’t know much about the comic book version of the Silver Surfer so I imagine I won’t be to offended as a comic book fan. I *will* be offended if the movie is as “fluffy” as the first one though.

I don’t get Halle Berry’s comments. The Last Stand made over $200 million at the box office, so why would it even be necessary to write to Tom Rothman at Fox to get X4 made? Unless… (shock!) (gasp!) common sense has prevailed at the studio and the suits want to quit while they’re still ahead.

I’m not sure what some of you here are smoking. The X-men franchise is the BEST franchise to have because it has so many characters to rotate in and out (gambit, jubilee, morph among others still havent been used) and many built in scripts in the form of comics.
X-3 was friggin AWESOME. NOTHING was botched. The movie scored big. I am a big comic fan and know they aren’t always consistent. This is called poetic license. Ratner did GREAT.
If anyone should be pissed it should be me, because I am a big Juggernaut fan, and they made Juggernaut a mutant (which he is not) and he would not have been affected by leaches power. Thank god they took out that extended fight scene. The Juggernaut can take the whole X-man team…and I would have had a cow if he was knocked out by a lightening bolt.
To answer the question posed by the commentator…Juggernaut would kill wolverine in 2 seconds (literally) by overpowering him and breaking his neck (the only way given in the comics to kill Wolverine).
MAKE AT LEAST 10 X-MEN FILMS. HECK THERE WERE 10 JAMES BOND FILMS! YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!!

My issues with the movie had nothing to do with how it compared to the comic book, it just wasn’t very well done. And if you read my review of the film you’ll note that I also really liked Juggernaut.

Ratner sucks. X3 was the worst X-Men movie of all time (I think X2 was the best). They need to fix it somehow with X4 and be damn sure to include Gambit. Singer wasn’t that great, but anything is better than Ratner. Uma Thurman would make an excellent Emma Frost. Halle Berry wasn’t that bad in X3. That would be the scriptwriter’s fault.
Ratner was handicapped IMO by coming in at the 11th hour on a train that was already barreling down the track. As to Halle’s performance, I haven’t re-watched the movie since I first saw it so I can’t comment on direction vs script.
Probably a combination of both.
Tell you what, Xavier’s (semi-) death was about as pointless as Kirk’s in “Star Trek: Generations”.

…and so I was told that they WERE going to make an X-Men 4 movie by someone that I want to hit for getting my hopes up high. Now, I see that it was just talk. I hope that they do. NO MORE SUPERMAN MOVIES – PLEASE!!! There was nothing wrong with the ones that Christopher Reeves made. They SHOULD be concentrating on other comic book characters that they haven’t done yet. There’s a ton of them!!!
With regards to X-Men 3, I was a bit disappointed in some areas. I thought that they could have done better and elaborated on some of the ones that they did use. I thought that they should have done much better with Phoenix also. That part was kind of weak, but I still liked the movie enough to watch it in the theatre and a couple of times at home after buying the DVD.
What’s next? That is, what comic book character is next? I can’t wait.
There are quite a few superhero movies in development that will make it to the light of day as long as the genre continues to be profitable.
A few that come to my are Luke Cage, Hulk 2, Punisher 2, Prince Namor, Dr. Strange and Iron Fist.

I am Looking forward to the fourth X-men movie. I’m also looking forward in seeing Gambit in it, my mom is a big fan of him. I kind of hope that they give Calosses a biger part this time. I think that they should put in Apokolips so he can be the biggest fight that the X-men would have. This is to the writers of the X-men movies, in the movie you should have Apokolips use his power to bring back the Professor, Cyclops, and Jean. I also thin that the cure shouldn’t last to long, because at the end of The Last Stand Magneto still had his powers, so maybe the other mutants that take the cure will have there powers back.

I absolutely loved the x men trilogy so far and i am thirsting for more. I can’t get enough of it. Please try to make one more! You already set it up perfectly at the end of the third when Magneto moved the chest piece. I really think you could create one more masterpiece. Good Luck!

It would be awsome to see u in more x men movies but can u please consider doing a spin off us fans made u win the award for a it.reason that reason is because u make an awesome storm and we like to see a lot more of u and a storm spin off would do that if someone else would talk the role of storm I really don’t think I would bother watching it.
STORM NEEDS TO COME BACK IN X-MEN4.. SHE IS AN EXOTIC CHARACTER IN THIS NEXT FILM SHOULD EXPLORE HER POWERS EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE. REALLY HOW COOL CAN SHE BE. but i think that they should expan on storm and her abilities and yes i think that halle berry should still play storm because she is perfect for that part.any one else whould be to play storm would be a disgrace. i think gambit will make a great new addition.
