There will be swords and magic aplenty at the movies this year, and two of the biggest titles in that bunch are the Clash of the Titans sequel, Wrath of the Titans and the epic re-imagining of the "Snow White" fairy tale, Snow White and the Huntsman.
Today we have new media from both films to share: A set of new Wrath of the Titans posters, and a new image of Snow White herself (Twilight's Kristen Stewart) in the midst of an epic Medieval battle.
Wrath of the Titans
Wrath of the Titans sees demigod Perseus (Sam Worthington) once again recruited by Zeus (Liam Neeson); this time to stop a plot by Zeus' traitorous son Ares (Édgar Ramírez) and brother Hades (Ralph Fiennes) to overthrow the lord of lightning and release the monstrous Titans from their imprisonment.
The previous Wrath of the Titans trailer and banners gave us a look at some of those eponymous Titans. This new set of posters, on the other hand, focus on Perseus, while the new character banner includes Perseus' heroic allies like Andromeda (Rosamund Pike) and Agenor (Toby Kebbell), as well as gods Zeus and Hades:

Wrath of the Titans is directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Battle Los Angeles), was shot in actual 3D this time around (instead of post-converted like the first film) and will be in theaters on March 30, 2012.

Snow White and the Huntsman
The Snow White and the Huntsman trailer made this re-envisioning of the "Snow White" tale one of the most anticipated movies of 2012 - and not without good reason. The Medieval aesthetic that newcomer director Rupert Sanders has chosen for the film fits hand-in-hand with this spin on the classic story, in which a beauty-obsessed evil queen/sorceress (Charlize Theron) hires a gallant hunter (Thor's Chris Hemsworth) and his band of fighting dwarves (played by esteemed actors like Bob Hoskins, Ray Winstone and Toby Jones) to kill the one maiden in the land (Stewart) whose heart would forever preserve the queen's beauty.
Of course, like many modern fairy tales (see: Tangled, Red Riding Hood) the damsel is no longer content to sit on the sidelines in distress, and instead plays a much more active role in her own fate. As you can see below, this Snow White knows how to handle herself on the battlefield:
