  1. If the FilmSchoolRejects really put movies like A Good Day to Die Hard and Gangster Squad into that very short list of the “worst movies” of 2013, they sure chose a very apt name for their website. Either that or they watch way, way, way too few movies, if that’s all they could come up with.

    • I think they were going for sucky movies that people will actually recognize. And in their defense Die Hard 5 truly did suck. I never saw Gangster Squad so idk about that one.

      • No, it couldn’t have sucked, because I genuinely enjoyed it, bought it on Blu-ray and watched it again. My word is the law on that. 😀

        • Oh! my bad. I thought you meant to say that there were other movies this year that were worse than Die Hard 5 or something. I didn’t know you liked it. Sry for bagging on it, I just wasn’t a fan.

          • Hehe, that’s okay. 😉

I recognize that it doesn’t even remotely hold a candle to the original Die Hard, but I still enjoyed it for what it is. But yeah, there were much worse movies out there than what they came up with. At least they have a really bad movie in there with that Haunted House flick, so the list isn’t a complete failure.

    • Agreed. The only ones on that list I’ve seen that truly deserve to be on there are A Haunted House (although it was better than Scary Movie V…which isn’t on their list) and Movie 43. Although I’ve heard nothing but hate for Getaway, so that probably deserves it too, just haven’t seen it myself. Other movies on there like Die Hard 5, Gangster Squad, Parker, and Jack the Giant Slayer I actually genuinely enjoyed. Not saying any of them are at the top of my 2013 list, but definitely not at the bottom either.

  2. Surprised with all of those Dr. Pepper product placements. Some of those are truly awful. At least with X-2’s case, I can barely recognize that it’s a Dr. Pepper Bottle.
