While the countdown to next year's highly anticipated superhero film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice continues, many fans are already looking to what's coming down the line from DC Entertainment. And yesterday shooting locations and schedules were revealed for the studio's next two films, Wonder Woman and Justice League Part 1, both due out in 2017.

Justice League won't begin filming until the first or second quarter of next year, but Wonder Woman is actually due to start much sooner, as early as the end of November. Production is scheduled to begin in England before moving to Italy, which many have surmised will stand in for Wonder Woman’s home island, Themyscira. Needless to say, rehearsals for the film appear to have already begun because we have the first look at Wonder Woman's beau Steve Trevor, played by Star Trek actor Chris Pine.

The newly released photo of Pine on the London set was posted on Facebook and Instagram by his Wonder Woman co-star Saïd Taghmaoui. It's been said that the upcoming film will take place in present day and include flashbacks to World War II. The theory seems to be accurate with Pine and Taghmaoui wearing what look like old 1940s outfits. That would mean that Warner Bros. is indeed going with the character's comic book origins.

In the original storyline, Trevor was an intelligence officer in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II whose plane crashes on Themyscira, the homeland of Amazon princess Diana and her people. She nurses him back to health and secretly follows him back to the real world. There she poses as his coworker Diana Prince while also moonlighting as Wonder Woman. The image of Pine and Taghmaoui in costume was deleted shortly after being uploaded, but since nothing ever disappears from the internet you can see Pine sporting his Steve Trevor look below.

What this picture also means is that Trevor will most likely be only part of Wonder Woman's past rather than her present, much like Agent Carter to Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So after first appearing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we'll then get to learn more about Wonder Woman (or rather her alter-ego Diana Prince) before she shows up to fight alongside Batman and Superman.

You'll aso notice the film's working title is "Nightingale," as is prominently displayed on the side of the trailer. The news had already been revealed in Production Weekly back in August, but we're no closer to finding out what it means in relation to Wonder Woman. It's not likely at this point that it has anything to do with the DC super-villain Nightingale a.k.a. Seiji Kato, but rather it could be a reference to the Florence Nightingale effect as Princess Diana falls in love with her patient on Themyscira.
