Six Flags is scheduled to open its doors to a brand new Wonder Woman-themed ride in 2018. Coming in the wake of the Amazon's mega hit, the park attraction will be the first single-rail design coaster in the world, allowing Diana Prince to put another record to her name.

Wonder Woman has already proven a massive success. Before its release, there was a lot riding on the film; the DCEU thus far had yet to have a bona fide hit, but that's something Patty Jenkins and Gadot delivered with gusto. It garnered amazing reviews, quickly became the highest grossing DCEU film domestically and is now challenging major entrants in the superhero genre worldwide. Now fans can experience Themyscira in a new way.

As first reported in USA Today, Diana's getting her own roller coaster - the Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster - at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Six Flags VP and chief corporate engineer Larry Chickola expressed his excitement on the attraction promising that the single-rail track will offer "extremely quick twists and turns – quicker and smoother than regular coasters”. The ride is scheduled to replace the theme park's Power Surge attraction.

Aside from its DC connections, the Golden Lasso Coaster will differentiate itself from other huge rollercoasters around the world by running only on a 15.5-inch-wide steel track, making it the world's first single-rail IBox track coaster. It will have an 113-foot hill climb followed by a drop of about 100 feet and then straight down at 90-degrees, with the eight passengers it can carry reaching speeds of up to 52 miles per hour.

The Wonder Woman ride is the third attraction spawned by Six Flags Fiesta Texas and DC's partnership. It follows  Batman: The Ride and Superman: Krypton Coaster. Around the country, the Amazonian Princess joins other DC characters like Green Lantern, the Joker, Lex Luthor, Mr. Freeze, Bizarro, and the Riddler headlining an attraction in various Six Flags sites around North America.

With the Golden Lasso Coaster coming to Six Flags Fiesta Texas next year and several upcoming movie projects set to feature Wonder Woman, everyone will be able to get their fix of the iconic superhero in the next few years. After starring in her own standalone film, Gadot is set to reprise her role in November's Justice League, as well as the already penned in sequel set for 2019. Recent rumors, however, suggest that another appearance could be in the works, this time in Ezra Miller's Flashpoint.
