If I was executive producer on a big screen wonderwoman movie. This is how I would approach it.

1. I would go with a redsign version of the Bikini out that was going to
use in NBC’s failed attempt to do wonderwoman serie’s.
2. I would use one of the hawawii’s island as a stand in for Paradise
Island.

3. For the version of character Steve Trevor I would make him a Air
Force Intelligent officer. Played by Terrence Howard-Iron man or
Bradly Cooper from A-team.
4. It would be her orgin story.

5. That I would approach it the same way christoper Nolan and Richard
donner do there superman and batman. As it having it’s own sense of reality to. and make it about character’s and only using CGI would it was necessary and help tell the story. And use real location’s to give it a sense of realism.

5. first scence we would see of Diana prince would be when steve trevor crash land’s on Paradise island.

6. We would daina prince competing in the touranmount and winning it. then seeing her be giving the bullet proof bracelet’s, lasso fo truth, and the wonderwoman outfit.

7. And last hour and half of the movie would take place in washington D.C. with using real place’s in city itself.

8. I would end the movie with steve trevor being saved by Wonderwoman and becoming his scetary.

I think morena Baccarin from FireFly, serentiy, V would make good wonderwoman.

The is a graet disjutice to one of our most popular comic around, to have a morden WW would help out those whom have lost hope with what the world has to offer today, the new WW will give insperation to others just as the Marvel/DC comic to big screen that have been done to date has, we need to keep hope and inmaginnation alive.

Also, the actress from the FLASH GORDON series Karen Cliche who played “Baylin” she can make an awesome amazon. she does looks like Alex Ross's WONDER WOMAN. There's another actress Alexandra Daddario as The Amazon Warrior AnnaBeth Chase from PERCY JACKSON & THE OLYMPIANS: THE LIGHTNING THIEF can also play Both amazon warrior Anna Beth Chase and Young Princess Diana in the WONDER WOMAN Movie. She is still in the Percy Jackson & The Olympians sequels. She is an amazon warrior. If DC Comics ask her permission.

And also Cate Blanchett from Lord of the Rings Trlogy and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull can make a great character playing Queen Hippolyte as Wonder Woman's mother (Ruler of Paradise Island). Everyone wanted Lynda Carter to play Queen Hippolyte I think Lynca Carter can make a cameo role in this movie instead of playing Wonder Woman's mother.

Other actresses I casted to play The Amazing Amazon are Karen Cliche, Keira Knightley, Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Penelope Cruz. Karen Cliche from the FLASH GORDON series can make an awesome casting role as WONDER WOMAN. Because Alex Ross illustrated the first Wonder Woman comic book adaptation.

Bridget Regan, of Legend of the Seeker. She can act, she is beautiful, and she has the physical prowess to be extremely believable in combat. She is just a little shorter than Lynda Carter. As pretty as some of the folks above are, none of them have shown the whole balance of what is needed for the role. Bridget Regan is a fresh face with real talent, both physical and acting prowess.

Lucy Lawless:
Beauty: 7 – Face is too masculine.
Acting: 8 – Great as Xena, but not for big-screen.
Warrior: 9 – Experienced, but not very believable.

Linda Carter:
Beauty: 8 – Yes, she was WW for years, but this is a new generation.
Acting: 9 – She pulled it off back in the day…
Warrior: 7 – Sadly, age takes its toll on all of us.

Acting: 7 – Subtle nuances aren’t her strong suit.
Warrior: 5 – Hard to picture, based on acting history.

Julia Voth:
Beauty: 10 – Face would be perfect as Wonder Woman. Almond eyes, perfectly angled jaw and chin, optimum combo of strength and sensuality.
Acting: ? – Unknown. I’ll have to rent ‘Bitch Slap’.

Based on face alone, she’d be awesome. If she could train and build up a touch more muscle (think Agelina Jolie for Tomb Raider, Jennifer Garner for Elektra) and could pull off the acting, this could be a breakthrough role for her.

you know I just dont understand why people dont find her outfit credible, the whole purpose of the outfit is to show feminism and strength. the whole point is that we know she’s sexy in her outfit, but she doesn’t, it is completely different when a girl wears the outfit as a halloween costume. she represents beauty and strength. as far as i am concerned they need to keep her costume just the way it is, i think the people who have a problem with her costume being credible should look at batman or even superman, there not being told that there costumes are not credible. maybe its because it takes serious people to watch a serious superhero in their original costume.

I Believe that lynda carter should be the only choice to play “WONDER WOMAN”, she still looks “FANTASTIC”!I think it would tie in with the fact that WONDER WOMAN is almost ageless and if some one else portrayed her it would more about the actress than the character.

Jodi Lyn O’Keefe!!! Look her up, I think she is a perfect fit. Proportions and all, she looks like she can kick ass and is beautiful!

A wonder woman movie can totally work, anything can when given the right script, actors, director, and editing (and anything needed to make that movie magic) and even though big screen female hero movies have bombed, shows like Xena, Buffy, Charmed, The Sarah Connor Chronicles etc. do well and are examples of there being people who would want to see this (not including wonder woman fans).

Hope Hollywood doesn’t screw this up!

I think Julia Voth has potential as mocksure said. I would not like to see Lucy Lawless or Meghan Fox in the role. And there’s nothing wrong with the costume as far as credibility. Superman still wears basically the same thing he wore in the 70s. The Hulk is still big and green.

DC characters are typically identified by their costumes more than most other comic characters. I really don’t think the general public would accept her nearly as well if she didn’t look like Wonder Woman, and instead had the cliche black leather or vinyl look that every other super hero or sci-fi movie is pushing nowadays.

Wonder Woman movie? only if they cast Lucy Lawless as the lead! she’s the only one who can do the character justice (unlike those petite actresses that have been tossed out as possibilities) she has the screen presence, the experience kicking butt (remember Xena folks?) and she’s tall enough- Wonder Woman was an Amazon- Megan Fox hardly matches up! Natalie Portman could fit in Wonder Woman’s palm! Xena for the role of WW!!!

I think it’s in the eyes. This girl has to have amazing eyes and boobs. She has to be able to fill out the costume. Nadia Bjorlin fits the profile but not alot of acting credits. She can sing like no other. check her out! My husband thinks she’s hot!

I don’t think her outfit is absurd at all; think about it. I think it would upset a lot of WW fans if they were to change the outfit. I mean, when Batman was adapted for live-action, they made a rubber suit for him and the audience accepted it for good reason because having him in spandex would be too comical and goofy. Hey, it worked for Batman, Spider-Man, Superman, and to a lesser extent, even Daredevil. In the case of X-Men, it was a good artistic decision to changed the costumes into a more realistic sense. So there’s no reason to believe why WW’s costume can’t work in the real world.
