Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot burst into song to celebrate the film crossing $400 million at the domestic box office. It's been the ultimate summer movie season for Gadot, who made her Wonder Woman solo movie debut after the character was introduced in the 2016 DC Extended Universe superhero extravaganza Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. A smash hit out of the gate in June with more than $100 million in ticket sales domestically in its opening weekend, the film has rolled onto to become the highest-grossing domestic movie release during the summer months.

The escalating gross of Wonder Woman both in North America and overseas has no doubt made Gadot a bona fide movie star, following years of supporting roles including three films in the Fast and Furious series. So, when Wonder Woman crossed the rare domestic box office milestone this week by topping the $400 million mark in ticket sales, Gadot wasn't going to let the milestone pass her by without a little fanfare.

According to EW, Gadot was having her hair done by Hollywood stylist Elizabeth Stewart this week when she started singing to celebrate Wonder Woman's box office feat, and Stewart captured it on video and posted it to her Instagram account.

It's not quite clear what song Gadot was actually singing (it's more like vocalizing) into a water bottle, which was the best substitute on-hand for a microphone, but the word "Woo!" was definitely included. Stewart marked the celebration by writing in the post, "This is what happens when #WONDERWOMAN breaks 400 million domestic! Wait for what happens at 500 million." You can see Gadot's performance in the post below.

While it's unlikely Wonder Woman will reach the $500 million domestic box office mark by the time the film ends its theatrical run, another cause for celebration is certainly within reach. Through Tuesday, the film has made $794.6 million globally, so it's quite possible that Wonder Woman will cross the $800 million international mark this weekend.

Gadot has every reason to celebrate the success of Wonder Woman. In addition to marking a career high for the actress, it's also the highest-grossing film DCEU film to date and it's set records for a female director for helmer Patty Jenkins.

Plus, there may be more golden opportunities ahead for Wonder Woman with the news that Warner Bros. is going to launch campaign for the film in this year’s Oscar race, and the presence of the Amazon warrior princess will do doubt boost the box office prospects for Justice League in November. Barring an appearance in any DCEU films after Justice League, fans can look forward to seeing Gadot again in Wonder Woman 2, which  is set to hit theaters in December 2019.
