The Wonder Woman Blu-ray and Digital HD release details are officially here. The acclaimed blockbuster from Patty Jenkins recently passed the $700 million mark at the worldwide box office, marking by far the director’s biggest movie to date. The same can be said for titular leading lady Gal Gadot, who will reprise her role in November’s Justice League.

It’s already known that Digital HD versions of Wonder Woman will be released on Aug. 29, with Blu-ray and DVD releases set for Sept. 19. But the full details of those releases weren’t fully known until now, as consumers now know what they will have to choose from when Wonder Woman first hits shelves.

Coming Soon is reporting the full Wonder Woman Blu-ray details. All releases will feature the theatrical version of the movie to go with extended and deleted scenes as part of the special features. The Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D combo pack will each retail for $44.95, while the standard Blu-ray combo pack will sell for $35.99 and the DVD will go for $28.98. The Ultra HD Blu-ray includes Blu-ray discs in both 4K with HDR and regular Blu-ray definition. The Blu-ray 3D combo pack gives you the option of 3D high-definition or standard high-def.

The special features include interviews with filmmakers, featurettes, and extended scenes. Each of the three Blu-ray combo packs will include a new, previously unreleased “bonus scene,” as well as a digital version of the movie on UltraViolet, which viewers can use to watch the movie on their mobile devices and access bonus features with the Warner Bros. All Access app. The Blu-ray releases will also feature an immersive Dolby Atmos soundtrack; you need a compatible sound bar to get the full effect, but Atmos is also backwards compatible with older audio receivers.

Featurettes include five installments of “A Director’s Vision”, covering Jenkins’ journey to bringing Wonder Woman’s settings and set pieces to life. Jenkins herself will also take viewers on an “exclusive journey” with featurettes like “Warriors of Wonder Woman,” “The Wonder Behind The Camera,” and “Finding The Wonder Woman Within.”

These special Blu-ray releases certainly have plenty to offer for fans, especially from Jenkins herself. It may be hard for fans to choose from the four options available and others may find some of the physical releases too much for their liking. But for devoted Wonder Woman fans, the behind-the-scenes features alone should make at least one of the Blu-ray releases a must-own.
