According to IESB, the recent new Wolverine movie reshoots consisted mainly of additional scenes between Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) and Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds). So what is the significance of this?
These additional reshoots may actually be a good thing for the film.

Among Marvel Comics fans, Deadpool is a pretty popular character, and people have been wondering how he’ll be portrayed in the film. Of course it’s difficult to draw conclusions from any of this, but the buzz is that more Deadpool in the movie in face to face scenes with Wolverine is good news.
For those not very familiar with the character (and that includes me), here’s a bit of a description:
Nicknamed the “Merc with a Mouth”, Deadpool is a high-tech mercenary known for his wisecracks, black comedy, and satirical pop-culture references. Like the X-Men’s Wolverine, Deadpool is the product of the Canadian government’s paramilitary Weapon X program, although his place of birth is unknown. After Weapon X cured his terminal cancer by implementing a regenerative “healing factor” extracted from Wolverine, Deadpool is left disfigured and mentally unstable. (Wikipedia)
I don’t know… is there some hope for this flick after all?

I’ve always thought there was hope for this flick. I think it has a chance to be great, or to be lack luster, and to me it looks more like good than bad.
I’m still not totally hyped for this film, but I hope Deadpool gets the suit AND is disfigured.

I pray that there are some fourth wall breakling in this. Heck, just to have Deadpool cracking wise throughout the fight will get me rolling.

this movie does look really good and im hyped up for it
I like Deadpool too especially after Joe Kelly’s Deadpool monthly series. I have no idea how they’re handling him here since this looks like a lot of pre-disfiguration stuff.
The only thing that worries me and it’s too late to change is the rather large cast of characters. I don’t see why Gambit needs to be in this (other than to make up for him not being in the X-men movies).
TOTALLY agree with G.K. If there is no fourth wall breakage I may cry a lil. Wade Wilson is my favorite character because he can’t do anything seriously. Ryan was a great pick to play him i think.
As for Gambit the only reason he’s even in the movie is because everyone complained so hardcore when he didn’t make the cut for the other movies… so they had to throw him in somewhere so all the screaming girls would shut up. (and to pull other screaming girls away from edward cullen for just a little bit…)

Re-shoots + Deadpool = Spin-off movie.
Deadpool is an awesome character, though.
There won’t be any break of the fourth wall even though that would be absolutely great and appeal to all the Deadpool fans! Instead I just see the Hannibal King character from Blade Trinity except with Martial Arts.
Think about it they actually went that route. Masses who only know the X-Men property from cartoons and/or the movies, and know-it-all critis will have WTF moments in the theatre! And, you can really tell from the screens that it would be seriously awkward with the tone and pace of the movie.
I just hope these reshoots will give it a really strong PG-13 rating!
