Not much here - just Hugh Jackman doing a “vogue” for the camera in what looks like a local photography studio.
That is all.

This film is not generating much in the way of anticipation for me..but I know that is going to change…
ya green, its true. There’s not been much. but then again, there’s Star Trek as well, which we have nothing for. Both movies are not for a year so it makes sense, any trailers now and earlier this summer would just get bogged down in the crazy massive cluster of films this summer.
A few images a few production video bones would be nice though Rob..How about a shot of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool? I wish I could get excited for Star Trek but I just didn’t really care about the early history of the Trek universe and there are books out there with that theme…I think they still should have gone further into the future with the mythos…
ah, but with the future comes a bunch of *new* stuff…new ships, new aliens…which is not a good idea. Like the last two movies which featured new aliens and new ships, its not fun and it doesn’t sell. People want to see what they’ve come to love for 4+ decades, and this movie is exactly that. They tried what you’re saying with the last 3 movies and it didn’t work at all.
They could even go more extreme and go further in the future with everything new, including characters…but how could they market it? It wouldn’t be trek and it would fail like the last 2.
This Trek movie will be the most successful ever, and will save, re-invent the franchise which is desperately needed now.
I think it would be a good idea, to release the first Wolvy trailer with Punisher in december.
I think the Wesley Crusher being Mr. Omnipotent was a severely wasted opportunity in the STNG continuity..He becomes like a being more powerful than the Q and then nothing more..unless I missed something really big there somewhere..Any thoughts on that Rob? You’re right on the money with the future angle I was trying to sell…
Cheers
lol, thanks green, I’m glad I was able to persuade you.
Ya I remember that very clearly, with good ol’ Wesley, one of my fav. characters. I remember that episode cuz it had that freeze motion thing where the fire fight (phaser fight?) froze mid-battle like a scene from the matrix.
I guess the show couldn’t continue with that angle because Wesley no longer would have any need to go back the enterprise or its crew now with new purpose. And to follow stories from his perspective wouldn’t make sense for the show. The only thing they could do was tie him in like Q, but that would be a cheap story telling way of bringing his character back and re-doing what Q could of did.
But ya, at the same time, as a kid watching that in the early nineties I sure would of loved it, hehe.
Hey Vic,
I noticed that the Screen Rant link is no longer up at the Comic Book Movie website..Huh What happened? I read their article about posting spoilers and Jim Litter mentioned you and Screen Rant directly but shortly after I notice the link to your website is gone? If it’s none of my buisness no prob….I actually am not fond of that (CBM) site anymore as I have found over the last few months they have gotten a lot more vulgar and adolescent in their approach to certain topics and are very unapologetic about it…I know it has nothing to do with this post but I just was curious…
Cheers

Looks just like a shot from one of the X-Men, although I suppose it’s exciting because it’s not. I wonder how the spin-off will be…
Thanks for your concern but it’s nothing nefarious - Jim and I are friends. Actually it was my decision as we sent each other very little traffic and I thought his banner here with my cleaner design was much more prominent than mine was over there with his busy sidebar.
