Vin Diesel is back for a third Riddick film. Check out the trailer and synopsis below.

The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that appears to be lifeless. Soon, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he’s encountered. The only way off is for Riddick to activate an emergency beacon and alert mercenaries who rapidly descend to the planet in search of their bounty. The first ship to arrive carries a new breed of merc, more lethal and violent, while the second is captained by a man whose pursuit of Riddick is more personal. With time running out and a storm on the horizon that no one could survive, his hunters won’t leave the planet without Riddick’s head as their trophy.

  1. ………Still no Man of Steel review huh?

    • Nope, WB put a review embargo until tomorrow night EST so only the lowest critics on the reviewing food chain and those not to be taken seriously may have posted a review of it

The studio wants people to see it before the reviews come out, which as the BBC journalist pointed out, is usually the tactic reserved by those who know they have a stinker on their hands.

      • The review embargo ended Monday night. ScreenRant always posts their reviews on opening day, which is tomorrow. “This Is the End”s opening day was yesterday, hence yesterday there being a review.

        • Yeah but the UK premiere of MOS was on tuesday and WB confirmed during the report on the red carpet that they weren’t allowing any reviews of the movie to be released until friday night when audiences have had chance to see it for themselves, otherwise, we’d have had reviews in tomorrow’s morning newspapers.

We won’t because any reviewer worth their salt is complying with the review embargo WB have requested.

          • @Dazz

You have any idea why early critics and RT(57% and falling) are killing MoS? Most of it is directed at Cavill being stiff, unemotional and pretty unengaging. No humor or emotional attachment whatsoever. Neither witty or charming. Am I wrong or are people expecting Iron man with a cape?

            • Lol at ironman with a cape comment, seems sometimes thats the case isn’t it? It’s superman, he’s a god among men, we should never gully understand him, there should always be sone amount of distance. But critica seem to want the 1978 superman, the everyman, the charming one in the cape and the comic relief one in the glasses. Sigh. Nostalgia is hard to overcome sometimes.

  2. We don’t need critics holding our hands. The movie’s done and it’s here. Go have fun.

  3. Uhm, I thought Riddik was now some planet ruling dude, did I miss something?

    • Apparently he gets usurped or quits then gets dumped on a planet and left for dead.
