DO BLACK DYNAMITE...BUT MAKE HIM WHITE?!

Episode 4 deals with the amount of compromise filmmakers often contend with, and how it takes a toll on the artist as well as audience when studio meddling kicks into high gear. Plus, at the end of the day, what's important is how much "love" the filmmaker is able to inject into his work. Scott also describes the absurdity of his trying to make a "reverse Different Strokes" when the studio wanted to do it without kids (???). With references to Black Dynamite, Different Strokes, Thick as Thieves, Michael Jae White, Alec Baldwin, and Hello Larry.
