Woody’s movies are always entertaining, and I’m looking forward to seeing him battle zombies! I’m also looking forward to rockin’ the Real Deal hat! Check me out on twitter @imabuddha

I’ll comment hollywood pitch-style. It’s like Grand Theft Auto meets Shaun of the Dead. It’s the anti- 28 days later. I’ll expect to be grossed out while laughing my butt off. They’re aren’t many movies this year that promise this much fun and most likely deliver it. I’m sure every zombie movie lover will like this movie and maybe people who don’t like zombie movies will actually enjoy this. It’s looking like the kind of movie everybody loves, the entertaing kind.

That’s hysterical! I’ve been watching horror movies since I was 3 years old. But I don’t think Twinkies expire. They’re like fruitcake. I’ll go see this.

I’m a zombie nut and I loved Zombieland! Tallahassee was my very favorite part of the film. I’ve been craving Twinkies ever since seeing it.

I watched Zombieland last night at the midnight showing, and it was fantastic. I haven’t laughed that hard at a movie in a long time. The celebrity cameo was just hilarious, and seeing Tallahassee get starstruck over said celebrity was awesome.

Columbus’s rules for surviving in Zombieland have me re-evaluating my zombie plan, and planning to take up running as a hobby.

Zombieland was amazing in that it re-wrote the zombie comedy-adventure genre! The main party stayed alive, the end was that yeah we are living in a best hits nightmare, and the guy gets the girl (and Tallahassee didn’t care! He was cool being buds with Little Rock.)

People who saw it can’t really compare it to ANYTHING. Bill Murray was insane with his surprise cameo that took the entire theater by surprise, and the way it was filmed was fresh!

Overall the film delivered and without a bat to the face, but encompassing the #2 rule: the double tap.

The scene with the fat zombie in the supermarket looks hilarious! I can’t wait to see this movie. I haven’t seen Harrelson in a movie I really liked since Play It To The Bone. Looking forward to seeing him in something good again.

Zombieland looks awesome, I need to find the time to see it. Looks like a funny horror movie, need more of those that don’t take themselves seriously at all.

I’m not even joking when I say that I think Woody deserves a shot at an Oscar nomination. Tallahassee was the best character I’ve seen on the screen this year.

VouxCroux says:

Just saw it…very funny. Obvious comparisons are to “Shawn of the Dead,” but that was more of a comedic homage to zombie movies. This was just a fun zombie movie. Very few jokes fell flat; it was straight-forward and made very well use of the “Chekov’s gun” principle on a few occasions. More than that, it’s Jesse Eisenberg’s first film to released to a wide audience and to have made a lot of money. We’ll see more of him. It’s also nice to see Abigail Breslin rewarded with some broad comedy as opposed to indie comedy. Someone else said it was the anti-28 Days Later, and that is a very good comparison.
