i'm just a sucker for action films, single DVD with Widescreen ratio, and don't forget the two alternate endings! yikes!

+ that actor that was once an athlete.... yea... :p
  • H.O.M.E.R.
    Vinnie Jones hands down
  • H.O.M.E.R.
oops, forgot to write down the reason?

well ultimately i love collecting movies... cant never have enough action

i am addicted to good audio tracks, and this seems like another great hit to let me subwoofer wild...

As a WWE fan I appreciate Cena as a hardworking, intense competitor. I didn't catch this movie in the theaters (it wasn't there very long) and I'd be intersted to see how this movie is. The film's concept at the very least seems cool.

    Thanks.
  • Arnold is by far the best athlete-turned-actor action hero! "Commando" was a staple of my childhood! It doesn't get any better than "Let off some steam, Bennett!"

As for "12 Rounds," it can't be very good since it stars a WWE wrestler and is directed by Renny "Cutthroat Island" Harlin. But for some strange reason I loved "The Marine" and really am excited about seeing "12 Rounds." Plus Ashley Scott is really hot! :)
  • Melody
Since I grew up watching Arnold Schwarezenneger, I can appreciate his work a lot more than the other options. I also love his work because he can do such a variety of genres and be entertaining in all of it.

I'd like to win because I was excited about this film from the moment I saw the trailer. I loved the concept, cast, and everything about this film. It would mean so much to be able to win this since the economy is terrible and I haven't had enough to buy all of the movies, including this one that I want on DVD.
  • Stan Zaske
I follow you guys on Twitter and I'd love to have a copy of 12 Rounds. Looks like it would be an excellent movie. Thanks!
  • william
screw john cena, he does't know how to act or wrestle
  • Fury2701
Never understand the Cena haters . . .
  • LostUnknown
I love dvd's and whether a movie is good, bad or just stupid fun, I'll more than likely pick it up.

John Cena, if they let him actually act and just be himself more would be a good actor. Time will tell if that happens.
  • dannyk
the first time i saw john cena was in a dodgy (and fairly humid) hotel room in the ghetto in uganda on a pirated copy of "the marine". it would be nice to see his next film on a proper dvd.
  • greenknight333
    @ LostUnknown

You can have my copy of The SPirit then..

It's free and that's the only way I'll ever see this film..if someone gives me a copy!! :)
  • David Akin
I shot some of the behind the scenes features on the film down in New Orleans last year. I deserve the DVD because I know I will never get a comp copy from 20th Century FOX or WWE or John Cena ha ha! Your friendly camera dude, Dave Akin www.epklouisiana.com

i think i should win the movie cause i'm from new orleans lived through 7 feet of water in katrina and am proud when anyone makes a movie in my city.
  • I'd just like to win because I think it'd be a fun movie to watch. That's it.
  • guard dawg
CENA RULES PLEASELET ME WIN :)
  • Mark Driesbach
Id like to win because im a movie whore lol!! I love movies good ones, bad ones....ive even had the displeasure of seeing that santa with muscles movies Hulk Hogan did...lol!! I remember the undertaker being a bounty hunter in suburban commando, I thought the great khali was funny in The Longest Yard with adam sandler, and i liked Dwayne Johnson in Walking Tall...even with Johnny Knoxville being in there!! But the best wrestler turned actor has to Roddy Piper...who else could make a bad@$$ movie like They Live AND Hell Comes To Frogtown and still be a bad@$$?? RODDDY PIPER THATS WHO!!
  • I'm a big fan of action-pack movies. Besides, most of WWE athlete turn into a great action star like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Now John Cena have couple movies, both contain action pack. Futhermore, I love DVD! Love to watch the special feature that they put for a fans and Extreme Cut for 12 Pounds, get me excited.

    Best Regards,
    Iszaham

Had the question asked ' Who was/is the best action star I would have voted Arnold hands-down. But it asked who "Is", leaving Arnie out of the running because he is a politician (weep) now. So I voted Dwyane Johnson, the guy is easy on screen, comfortable, able to make fun of himself and goof off, as well as bringin' the pain to the bad guys. I have to give props to Arnold though. Best action star of all time. He made the muscle man with 17 lines in a movie acceptable.
I'd like to win this disc simply because it would be cool to actually get something for all the time I spend on the internet, also it would be great to add what appears to be a fun and exciting action flick to my minimalistic blu-ray collection.
  • John "Kahless" Taylor
I would like to win because I want world peace. I truly believe that US Americans would benefit greatly if I win this DVD. :-)

I heard that this movie sucks but if I can get it for free, great. I can't see how Arny wouldn't win that poll; come on, he's the epitome of action hero.
  • SK-47
As a wrestling fan, from going back to the 80s NWA, WWWWF, WWF, WCCW through now, I would have to say that John Cena just plain sucks!
He is an amalgam of Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior in terms of having a huge fan base with limited basic moves where other wrestlers are put in with him Cena to make him look good.
This movie is bascially the same story as the Marine.

Arnold is the best athlete-turned-actor, Dwayne is influenced by Arnold! Arnold is KING!!!!
  • sito
    I'd like to win.
Why not include O. J. Simpson on the list? His performance as innocent man was outstanding!
  • Beth C.
I once watched an entire Cubs game just to see John Cena get interviewed for an inning. However, winning a DVD with John Cena is a much easier way to get to see him.
  • Brent E
As much as I like Carl Weathers's work, there's just not enough of it out there for me to put him over Arnold or the Rock.

As for why I'd like to win this contest, two words: Renny Harlin! Deep Blue Sea and Die Hard 2 both were great but underrated action films. However, that list is missing his best film, which is definitely Cliffhanger. Throw a Nightmare on Elm flick in there, and you've got a guy that knows how to keep us fanboys entertained.
  • Jim Bowers
I am a wrestling fan and have the Marine DVD. So would love to have this one also. BTW, I would have voted for "The Rock", but he had done better Disney movies lately, which aren't action.
  • bigDOG
Who exactly would want to win a 12 Rounds DVD? After The Marine, hell no.
  • Jim Bowers
Oh forgot to mention this. "I Have Come Here to Chew Bubblegum and Kick Ass... and I'm all out of Bubblegum."
  • Travis Johnson
My boys are huge John Cena fans. I'm not sure why but they think he's great. I guess I was the same way when Arnold and Stalone were the go to action stars. I think they'd probably watch this DVD until the player breaks. At least the DVD won't wear out like VHS tapes and BetaMax did after a few thousand viewings. I actually wore out my original Star Wars VHS tape. Ok. Go ahead and say it. I was a Star Wars nerd!
  • Matt Keith
I would like to win b/c I like action movies, and this one looks like it might be good.
  • Wiredwizard
Destruction, explosions, Ashley Scott & B-movie acting - sounds like a fun evening to me. All that's missing is a Bruce Campbell cameo.
