I stopped watching the show when Laurence Fishburn came into it. Grisson was irreplaceble. So why replace him at all. :(

I totally agree!! I would love a csi movie I've been wanting one for awhile. Its like with the xfiles. They made a movie during the fourth season and it was a big success. and I don't think they should bring neone new in. The fans who want a csi movie would want the original cast. And even though warrick is dead that doesn't mean they can't make a movie without him. They've continued the show without him. And now that jorja is back and william petersen said he would be in the movie, there's nothing stopping them!

YESS!!! Personally - having read somewhere else that it may be in Paris - I think it will include the wedding of Grissom and Sara, i hope so anyway! I think it would work great, either the CSI's go to see Grissom and Sara's wedding and they all end up working together to find a killer when they find a dead body somewhere or someone kills someone at the wedding, or theres a huge serial killer on the loose and Grissom and Sara are needed, because Jorja is going to be in it as well, it would totally ROCK! But i think we can almost garuantee that the wedding will be included....agreed?? :P

I have to admit, making a movie of CSI might work. There is still one problem, if the orginal cast does not appear in their original roles, as in the TV version, then what is the point? Concerning Gary, even though his character is dead, from the TV series, why couldn't he appear in scenes, as a memory of "what use to be" and in turn help solve this paticular crime!?! Kind of like returning from the grave in their memories and something he said or did, helps the cast rethink how to approach that crisis. Just a thought. I would pay to see CSI in a motion picture format, I think it would be awesome.

Love the idea of a movie, but share Petersen's seeming hesitation to have it made unless it's done "right." If done well, it would be terrific. I have faith the writers could write a good script; I think they are the best writers in TV today. Hope it happens!!

Who knows if this will ever actually happen.

I do however like Petersen's thinking that the movie would happen during the series' run. It makes total sense to me that for any popular television show there is room for a movie AND the weekly show.

What better way to mix things up every once and a while than have a big budget storyline on the big screen in between seasons. I think it makes marketing sense and I think the fans would love it. I for one would see a Jerry Bruckheimer produced CSI movie.

Jorja left nearly a year before Gary did. And Gary's character is dead, so I doubt there is going to be any bringing the original cast back together, unless it is CSI investigating a zombie outbreak.

I stopped watching once Gary Dourdan left the show. Then I heard both Jorja and Petersen were leaving I saw no reason to come back to the show.

Frankly, I don't think the crime investigation formula works for a movie. It would just feel like an extended episode. But any way, the only way I would consider seeing it in theaters is if they got the original cast back together, and maybe if they brought in Caruso and Sinese.

If they could write in a serial killer that targets and takes out the cast of Miami, New York AND Las Vegas all in the same movie. I'd pay to see that one. I'm totally C.S.I.'d out. I don't think Morpheus could even get Neo to save this show lol.
