Politicians usually cast votes while dressed in their finest suits with flags pinned to their lapels. Jón Gnarr, the Mayor of Reykjavik, cast his vote while dressed like a Jedi Knight. The comedian won the Mayoral election back in 2010 running as a member of a party he founded called Best Party. Looks like he’s not straying far from his roots.

  1. LMAO! I know the guy in that Star Wars poster, he’s Master Nonymous!

  2. Is that Jayne hat think true? Wow… Fox really must be run by a bunch of dicks.

    • What? This surprises you?

      • Not really, but one never seizes to be amazed that there is always another level of dickiness when you think that they already reached the pinnacle of dickdom.

        • Although I may be biased since I don’t generally rate Television Networks by their Jayne hat marketing preferences, I’m thankful that Fox is out there just for accurate news reporting. Otherwise, all the news we would get would include the liberal taint that every other network has…

Yep, I said it, “liberal taint”…and that could mean so many different things… :-)

The problem is that they’re selling it offically as the “Jayne hat” and Fox owns all the Firefly rights. They could just as easily sell it as ‘orange winter hat’ and probably not run into any legal issues (although I’m just a lowly geek, not an attorney, so what do I know.)

          Also, it’s ‘ceases’ not ‘seizes’.

          • “Also, it’s ‘ceases’ not ‘seizes’.”

Thanks, you are right. I’m not gonna comment what you said about Fox News, though. Let’s leave it at that. ;)

  3. “Don’t care what Fox says. I’m gonna continue making them and selling them so they can piss off!”

    Says every Browncoat everywhere.

  4. That Star Wars poster is a little old – it came out right after Abrams was announced as the director (lens flare). ;)

  5. The “Future Companion” shirt would be a bit more awkward if attributed to a Firefly fan.

  6. Love the Episode VII poster. I hope the actual movie is good. I love all 6 movies and even the CW film, I hope to love this one as well.

  7. jesus that autoplay is annoying.

  8. I can´t believe you dare to share this sh*t about episode VII. This is bullsh*t. Talk about STARWARS when news deserve it. The poster is an extremely piece of trash.
