I’m not much impressed by the trailer but I do think the story has potential and I’m curious to see how Christensen does outside of the SW world.

Yeah, it doesn’t look awesome or anything, but it might be one of those little sleepers. Maybe it will be a pleasant surprise.

I’m curious to see Hayden in this as well.

Am I the only one getting a Highlander vibe off this? It actually looks pretty decent, count me interested.

SNR, yeah, totally!

I thought about putting that in the post but decided not to. The differences are that they’re not immortal and that they’re not trying to kill each other, there’s another group of people that are trying to kill them. But yeah, the fact that it’s been going on for centuries and such did give me that feeling.

This is an adaptation of the book although a lot of the story was rewritten to include the whole war plot. Still, looks interesting visually enough to go see in the theater, and contrary to popular belief, when Christiansen isn’t forced to mutter lines written by Lucas, he can be pretty good. I’m there.

Adverse, I *did* get the impression that the reason the actors came across so terribly in the later Star Wars movies was Lucas’ doing and not their fault.

After admiring special effects in Smallville, Heroes and Journeyman (at times), I’m not impressed by the easiest effect in the world–what is it, a jump-cut?–being used 1,000 times in a movie. Yeah, you can’t be stressed or you’ll rip the fabric of the Whatever Continuum.

Give me some bang for my buck! At least the Enterprise flashes into warp speed. Nightcrawler “bamfs” and Hiro looks like he’s got cramps. Oooh, the camera stops while Hayden walks to the refrigerator. I’ve got CHILLS.
