Two weeks ago, we finally got to see the first official trailer for Where The Wild Things Are and to everyone’s relief, it seems that they’ve actually pulled it off in bringing the children’s book to life.
Today, we have a brand new poster for your viewing pleasure and it’s even better than the first Where The Wild Things Are poster from last month. Following the same style as the earlier one-sheet, this new image depicts the monster with his face partially hidden (in the first poster, the character’s heads were cropped out and you could only see them from the neck down).
Take a look and see what you think:

This poster is an improvement over the previous one as it let’s us see the nice scenery and style in a wider shot as opposed to a cluttered close-up. It makes for a better and more photo-esque image that I’d like to have on the wall.
This movie is really shaping up to be something special and I look forward to seeing it on the big screen.
Are you looking forward to this flick?
Where The Wild Things Are finally opens (after having been delayed a year) this October 16th, 2009

This looks terrifying for a kid !
I’m really looking forward to this movie. So much so that i went out and bought 2 individual copies of the book(hardback for me and paperback for my kids). I loved the story back when i was a kid, and my kids are sure to love it as well:)I showed them the trailer and they were psyched.I’m also wondering how they’re going to turn 1 minute of reading material (not talking about and analyzing the pix) into a full feature length movie
OMG! Haha i agree with ‘Fail’ alot of these kids are gonna be scared out of their undies hahaha. But i liked this story when i was a kid so Il probably watch it =]
