I usually come here because only the biggest and most reliable stories seem to be posted. Occasionally there are stories I’m not interested in, but for the most part this site does a great job condensing all the geeky news I could gather from other sites.

this is why i love this site
i can think of a sinngle instance wqhere i ever felt you were jumping on a rumor to follow the pack as for the guy that made that rumor up its nothing to feel proud about
again something i never have to worry about here

Yeah, in the discussion thread in which he claims he’s the source he tries to justify himself and I think it’s pretty ridiculous. Kind of trying to take the high ground after pulling an April Fool’s prank.

Similar people tend to post faux news stories, usually politically motivated. It’s all the same, really. I clicked on the link about the guy who admitted he was b.s.ing about the JLA “scoop.” Sigh…If you’re bored, why not go outside?!
