  3. I guess the only thing that even remotely got me interested in Terminator news is the fact that the Rock is involved because if you need someone to take your Franchise to the next level(boxoffice-wise) you call The Rock see Fast 5 & 6, Journey 2, and GI JOE 2. I don’t like him as just a Terminator but if they could somehow make it work as either him as a badass human, him as a the terminator like Arnie in T2 or even if he were a more sentient being like Brainiac then that would peak my interest more. I don’t know how you incorporate Arnold into this story if its some kind of reboot.

Anthony seemed like he spread his wings more without Rob or Kofi and my question is will it continue.

    • Noway! ;-)

    4)The Heat
    5)World War Z

Didnt they already released this early this year, under a different name?

  5. Ngl Andrew, when you picked IM3 over MOS as your most enjoyable movie of the summer so far, I was pretty bummed. Y’know considering all those MOS articles you wrote :(

    • I chose my words carefully! “Most fun I had in the theatre this summer.” Man of Steel was a long time coming and has a much different place in my heart. But unlike IM3, it wasn’t going for fun, laughs, and ‘whoa sweeet’ moments of action.

And after we’d made our love for MoS (for the most part) clear on the podcast, I felt IM3 needed a shout out more :)

  6. They should scrap the most likely doomed Terminator 5 and just cross over with a Robocop vs Terminator movie!

  7. Did anyone hear the Independence Day remark made by the tour guide guy in White House Down?

    • That I did! I thought it was just a little charming.

    • Also, Gamerant podcast?, Im on board.

    • Sam Rockwell as Deadpool is brilliant.

  8. Oh man, Anthony’s Mickey Mouse voice is the funniest thing I’ve heard all day.

I don’t think I would quite give The Last of Us a perfect score either. It’s a great game for sure but the gameplay, for me, wasn’t nearly as fulfilling as the story and characters. It wasn’t until those elements developed and got interesting that I was really glued to the game. I’d really like to watch the Grounded documentary but I don’t have the season pass yet. I remember Uncharted came with the documentaries for free!

  9. The deleted scene with Ahnuld as a Texan was from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and not Salvation. Where would they have fit that scene in that movie anyway? ;)

An important thing about Roland Emmerich movies is that they always are tongue-in-cheek. Just because the subject matter is serious and not really to laugh about it doesn’t mean that his movies are to be taken seriously. That’s why there are so many funny scene and character quirks. I think Emmerich does what Michael Bay is incapable of: creating fun block busters that aren’t so silly that it hurts.

Oh, and while we’re at it: the enemy in Day After Tomorrow isn’t ice. It’s mankind and mankind’s disregard for nature. The ice was just a symptom.

    • I was going to point out the Terminator 3 thing too ;) Also, Arnold wasn’t a scientist – he was their ‘Captain America’ soldier that the military was going to base the Terminators on. The joke is that the project leader didn’t like the Arnold’s southern accent so the skinny scientist, with the real Arnold Austrian accent, said he would change the voice on the finished product. That being said, I’m pretty sure it was meant to be a parody rather than an “official” cut scene…

  17. Holy s***, Amy is sooooooo annoying. If she is on again, I’m done with this podcast.

    • C’mon… Amy isn’t annoying. I listen to many podcasts where people rightfully jump on annoying inclusions, but I never once got that feeling from Amy.

I’m saying this as someone who is EXTREMELY critical of our podcast.

      • I agree Ant! Amy was freaking awesome and I think I have a tiny man-crush on Andrew!

    • nobody listen to this man, he is clearly insane.

    • @Nabil comon man Amy is not annoying i liked her on the podcast. Personally i think shes a great addition to the podcast and i hope shes on it more often

  18. From a non-American perspective you cant image how ridiculously, eye-rolling, nationalistically lame movies like White House Down seem… they just do, sorry, i agree with Dyce!

  19. I love how you all got it so wrong
