Alex says:

My mother made note of that commercial to me.

It’s god-awful and sick-instilling. I thought it was going to make me die, seriously. It seemed built to irk and awe in a not-so-good way.

Melody says:

I am still a Heroes fan, so it is nice to hear an estimate of the number of episodes for next season.

No, I am not thrilled with the ratings for TSCC. Friday nights was a bad move.

I am a Gossip Girl fan. I am not sure how I feel about Lily though.

Those Comcast commercials are very interesting to say the least.

SK47 says:

No mention of Breaking Bad?
Now that is a great show!

blipvert says:

Yea, I stumbled across the Season 2 premier of Breaking Bad last night whilst flipping channels. This show is just great. Bryan Cranston really shines through. I hadn’t heard anything about it and was wondering if it had silently died. I was happy to see it move into a second season. :)

SK47 says:

Yeah blipvert, makes you forget that this guy was Malcolm’s dad.
I would suggest everyone out there who does not know about Breaking Bad, check out season 1 quick and tune into season 2! AMC should be giving me some cheques for plugging this show, but it is worth it!

Ash Ali says:

Yeah, I’m a big Whedon fan, but I just couldn’t bare watching another god awful episode of Dollhouse. I stopped watching after the second episode. It was just unbearable.

RastaZen says:

Breaking bad is an amazingly well written show that is also loaded with great actors. I agree that people SHOULD check it out. The lead actor Bryan Cranston (Malcolm’s Dad ) is very talented .
For me , though , Breaking Bad is way too grim. I followed the first couple of episodes but it got way too heavy for me. I know that its a great show but I just can’t watch it :(

And Breaking Bad it is… I’ll see what kind of info I can dig up on it if there’s any newsworthy items to note!

The Comcast ads… I think though we all just might hate them, does the exact job that advertising is meant to do… stick in your head… and oh my god does it… I can’t GET THAT FREAKING TUNE OUT OF MY HEAD… and if you miss it, you can always visit the website comcasttown.. or something like that where you can play the tune alllll dayyyy lonnngggg…

I’d recommend viewing it on an older monitor you don’t care about. That way when you take a baseball bat to the website, ie: the monitor, nothing lost!

I bet you folks are wondering: Yea, but Bruce, how do you really feel?

Alex says:

Bruce, I’m not going to lie, you’re my hero.

busy says:

last weeks terminator I thought was really really good. im getting nervous though, moved to friday with dollhouse, both shows are losing viewers….if this gets canceled and i lose my daily dose of summer glau, im gonna be pissed!!

btw, anyone else see her on the big bang theory? :)

wes says:

Have you heard any info on Moonlight? I saw a petition for the Sci-Fi channel to pick it up, but haven’t heard anything else. I’m not a big vampire genre watcher, but I enjoyed that show and all the actors. It won’t happen, but I wish contracts mandated second seasons for a show to get legs.

Matt says:

I am a GG fan, come to your site often in my movie blog roundup because I like the opinions and variety. GG is the best show on TV for the very reasons Dollhouse sucks. 1. lead actress in DH is not that hot. GG guys/girls to a member all have her beat. Not nice, just the way it is. 2. Camera angles/lighting. I couldn’t stand to look at DH for more than a few minutes. It looks like a set, all the doors are obviously fake plywood, etc. (note, my same complaint about Veronica Mars). I’m not going to go into the progression of teenage drama from Saved by the Bell to GG reflecting their times, except I just did. Even when the story/writing suck (and they do suck all too often), GG has these things to fall back on, and they make up 3/4 of the experience anyway.

Thanks Alex…

OK then, I’ll add GG coverage as I encounter it!

I’ve got Breaking Bad on my “On Demand”… So I can play catch up.

Sci-Fi has Moonlight reruns, but on the down side, CBS has contracted O’Loughlin to their network… so he ain’t goin’ nowhere right now…

Mandarr says:

I don’t think they could pay me enough money to watch Gossip Girl and shows like it. It’s too bad though about TSCC and Dollhouse. I’ll keep watching them until they’re canceled I guess. Even if Dollhouse is pretty weird, it’s starting to get better in my opinion.

SK47 says:

RastaZen, that is a tuff name btw, yeah I know how it can be heavy but that is the reality of the character and what he is going through.
What I find really great is the chemistry between Crantson and his buddy, and the fact that it actually teaches how to cook this stuff! The first ep of season two talks about Ricin, I mean, shouldn’t this be illegal when you think about it, haha!

matt says:

Mandarr- I would encourage you, and everyone else, to find a torrent of the first episode of GG and download it, then come tell me if you can honestly still say there is anything “like it”, at least in terms of sheer production quality. From the music, to the wardrobe, to hair stylists, to camera work, etc. it is in a class of its own. I would LOVE it if you could show me another show now or in the past that is “like it”.

Andy S says:

I’d sooner stick a hot poker in my eye than watch Gossip Girl. My God, the previews during Smallville make me want to regurgitate my dinner.

Speaking of Smallville, this past Thursday’s new episode was something else. I’m not going to spoil it for those who DVR’d it, but wow.

Mandarr says:

@ Matt
I didn’t mean to get you riled up or anything like that with my comment about Gossip Girl. If you enjoy it, by all means watch it and have fun. I just don’t get into shows “like it” that I assume are something like Dawsons Creek, The OC, 90210, etc.. I just don’t get into teen drama shows.

Kristen says:

I’m a GG fan, although I tend to watch the episodes late. I’d love to see some coverage on True Blood if possible!
