Why would anyone wanna see Dennis Quaid in yet another movie? They only hire him when they can’t get one of the A list boys.

That’s not the final version of the Polish XF2 poster. That is an unfinished version that was never supposed to be released. They are supposedly fixing it.

It’s a shame that you think Viggo would ruin the Dances With Wolves sequel since he was the actor that the author, Michael Blake, envisioned in the role in the first place. He wrote Dances With Wolves as a wedding present for Viggo and his then wife, Exene Cervenka. Costner and his co-producer nixed the idea. He wanted the role himself.

Wow Donna, now THERE’S a bit of trivia I’d never heard! :-) And I’m a fan of Dennis Quaid from way back - I always found him to be a charming actor who could take on a tough guy role.

I’m very happy that Donna has pointed out this extraordinary fact about the film being written for Viggo and Xene. I already knew and was suitably exasperated that you thought Viggo would ruin it! It shows how little you know of his nature.
It’s like all things that are commented on; research before you speak.

I can’t stand Kevin Costner after the “happy ending” he gave himself on his honeymoon! The poor masseuse was fired and Costner tried to keep his name out of the papers, but the Judge said no go to his request. What man holds a woman’s wrist so she can’t escape and pleasures himself? And Costner lied to the media he didn’t do it and allowed the poor woman to loose her job? Everyone should boycott Costner movies! The man has no moral decency.

Kate,

I’m not too certain that the events depicted in the media are true and accurate.

A lot of things are brought into the public domain as a way of getting money and attention, and I don’t feel that the story is 100% factual.

The story is factual events and Kevin Costner has never “denied” the wrong doing, only skirted around it with his publicist saying the dispute is between Herb Kholer (owner of the golf resort where the incident took place) and the masseuse… Costner would have absolutely, in very clear terms denied the events if they were not true. The masseuse went to the tribunal to get her “back wages” for her unfair firing, which she received in full. I lost all respect for Kevin Costner and I would never pay one cent to see one of his movies again. We as a society need to ban together and say sexual violence against women (even if you’re rich, famous and handsome) is not acceptable.
