In the extended version of The Two Towers, Aragorn tells Eowin he is about 80-something years old. The only way I see Mortenson being in The Hobbit would be the last film.

I like Sam Jackson and may check out his new film. How can you not like Nick Fury?

In the Two Towers, Eowin mentions that Theoden`s granfather was in a battle with Aragorn some fifty years earlier..`Now that sounds to me like Aragorn may make an appearance in the battle at the end of the hobbit or they may show the war that ravaged the last of Aragorns kind…The Dúnedain. It would be nice to see how Legaolos and Aragorn met since they clearly know each other at the Council meeting in Rivendale.

Aragorn was a descendant of Elros Tar-Minyatur, Lord Elrond’s Half-elven twin brother and the first king of Númenor. Aragorn is descended from both of Elendil’s sons, from Isildur through Arvedui, last King of Arthedain, and from Anárion through Arvedui’s wife Fíriel.It would be great to see some of these characters revisited.

I love the Tolkien`s universe and the breadth of what he created. The Shakespeare of the fantasy world!!

I imagine they don’t need to contact Mortenson as Aragorn isn’t in the Hobbit. He will only be needed for this bridge film.

Law as Watson strikes me as an odd one. No fan of his, but could more imagine him as Holmes or even Moriarty.

I would friggin love to see Viggo and the rest of the big actors reprise their character roles in the second “hobbit” film. Although, I think only the first film is the hobbit and the second one will be a “bridge” film.

That’s what I hope for anyways, they’ve also said it would be just a hobbit two-parter.
