Ugh! More remakes. It’s one thing to remake a movie that is 50 years old and adding a modern spin on it, but c’mon Total Recall? The rule should be you can only make a movie after the main star of the film is dead. LOL.

There was a tv series. Not seen much but been told it was quite good.

I do love Total Recall, Ken. Whenever it is on, I’ll watch it. Young Sharon Stone, Johnny cabs, Michael Ironside growling at Arnie whenever he can.

If they make a new one which is just action then there’s no point. But if someone were to try a darker and more introspective version, along the lines of Dark City and Videodrome and all that, I’d like to see it.

I love the scene where that bloke tells him it is all a delusion and then lays out the plot depending on if he kills him, which, being Arnie, he does.
Like to see someone go with that.

‘The walls of reality will come crashing down’ — shortly followed by an explosion through the wall.

I’m not against a remake of Total Recall. I love the movie and watched it countless times, but it is still a typical Arnie flick – dominated by action, special effects and Arnie lines.

If they go for the psychological angle and explore the delusion/reality state more, I’d like to see it.
