Ashar,
I know - No Cruise, but I did keep it connected with some Ice Man news.

Niall,
For that, I thank you.

Somehow, I can’t imagine this new Three Musketeers being as good as the 70’s films, or any closer to the book/series.

Still, hopefully Millennium will surprise me and produce a good Musketeers series. I’ll definitely keep my eye on this one.

Those 70s movies with Michael York and Christophe Lee will always be the best in my eyes. Great humour but very good movies too, and loved the showdown in the second one.
Wish they hadn’t made that third one though. :(

Uh … wasn’t the plot of “The Thaw” an episode of The X-Files? (A very good episode at that)

There was a third one, steven? Never heard about that one. From what you’ve said, though, it sounds like that may be a good thing.

It was called Return of the Musketeers, and it had Kim Catrall as the daughter of Rochefort and Milady.

It wasn’t utterly terrible, but nothing on the first two. However something meaningful in the second movie is betrayed by the third so I can’t stand it.
If you haven’t seen it I shall keep it a secret. I wish I didn’t know it!

Well, if I ever find a copy on DVD, I may look into it. One of these days, though, I should reread the first two books and finish the series.
