I hope the GUNSMOKE movie gets lost in development hell. I do NOT want to see Matt Dillon, old-style moral stalwart and righteous law-man, twisted into whatever today’s nihilistic, amoral Hollywood will turn him into. Just intolerable.

Soooo sick of Seth Rogen…can’t believe he’s taking on a Super Hero role. Isn’t it a prerequisite that they have to be handsome and sexy? Not sure about the GH–he’s not a sexy crime fighter?

Glad the rom-com Ugly Truth made it’s bankroll back.

The only thing I can think that would’ve cost the lame Funny People movie is the bloated salaries.

Today,
I read a 1 year old article (Film.com I think.)
it is dated August 6th 2008.
Rogen says in this interview that he always wanted to make a movie about A Superhero and his sidekick.
he chose The Green Hornet because its The only Superhero property where the sidekick is more popular this his mentor.
Just thought it was an interesting tidbit .
It doesnt mean the movie will be any better,
but at least it explains why he chose the Green Hornet specifically.

Die Hard 2 director? Not sure about that, Die Hard 2 is easily the worst out of the 4 Die Hards. It had a pretty sloppy story and the action lacked substance and was just cheap thrills and gimmicks… Hopefully he has improved since then, although him doing a John Cena movie recently doesn’t exactly give a lot of hope, lol.

Funny People took $75 million to make?? Wow, where did that money go?? There weren’t any effects or stunts, they just had to rent some nice cars, a plane, and some nice houses but that’s about it… Was it to pay all of the stars that had cameos in it??

The impressive thing about Julie and Julia is that it cost 40 million to make .
if the estimates hold up the film made over half its production cost back in its first weekend .
