Ash, no you're not the only one who liked the SciFi version of Flash. There was some hokiness, but no more than was in the 80's movie. I would've loved to have seen it come back for 2nd season with some better writing to flesh out the characters some more. Did anyone else notice that after Flash Gordon ended, the actress who played Dale showed up on Smallville for a couple of episodes? I knew then that Flash Gordon was done.

790, I have a vision and it's a horrible one. A metal cover of the Queen theme. Chugga-chugga doom-laden chords and some guttural scaryman going "FLASH. WOOO-EEUUURRRGH". Either that or Nickelback. You KNOW they'll do this!

After the dire Hollow Man it's good that they've gone with a different take on the invisible thing. This might actually be okay, but in these days of maximum CGI how come no-one's thought of remaking The Man With X-Ray Eyes? That one's RIPE for it.

The Conversation, All The President's Men and The Parallax View are the three classic paranoid thrillers of the Nixon era. These are deeply paranoid times, and a Conversation series with fearsome 21st century surveillance technology could have a lot more impact than setting it in its original time. I don't see the point.

Loving Peter Parkour! Burk Sharpless is a fantastic name as well. Get him on the next Tugg Speedman movie...

I wonder who can top the Queen soundtrack in the 80's version of Flash ???
Also a piece of advice for Sci-Fi channel, "you guys would have sold more dvds of Flash Gordon if the price wasn't 20 bucks"
For a show like that tring to build a new audience, really the price should have been $10.99.

Having a New Invisable Man story where he's a spy would be cool. ;-)

The Invisible Man sounds a lot like what Alan Moore did with Extraordinary Gentlemen.

The Conversation is a really interesting film. A TV series could be very good.

Talk about an uncreative way to jump on the Parkour bandwagon...using that to be criminals, wow.

The magneto spinoff...by Fox im sure will be dumb and will probably feature random popular marvel characters that have nothing to do with Magneto's history. Maybe they'll make him grow up with best friends Cannonball and sunfire or some crap. And his brother will be James Proudstar, lol.

Am I the only one who thought the Sci-Fi channel version of "Flash Gordon" wasn't that bad? I mean, it had issues, but the show had potential, and room for improvement.
