Vid, what scenes were cut out of the movie exactly? That's a good one. Did you edit the film? :-)

You didn't find the humor in all the Star Wars/Star Trek references or the blogging inside jokes,or the sound effects, Rush, the opening Star Wars scroll, the diversity amongst the characters, Kristen Bell, breaking their balls, Shatner !!!!
Didn't you get that they were a parody of the Star Wars cast ?????

My gaawd this is the Wizard of Oz of Star Wars parody films. It was a classic !!!

Daniel F, your gonna love it !!! :-)

Fanboys the movie? I saw it and thought it was really terrible. It was seriously not funny and I really wanted to like this movie.

The only funny scenes were the celebrity cameos but that's it. Unfortunately you barely get to see Kirsten Bell in her Leia outfit. The editing was very disjointed as if whole scenes were cut out of the movie.

@Vic – True but honestly 87 mil seems about right. In the age of FB, Twitter and blogging, people know right away if they are going to see a film usually as they are walking up to the theater window. If the movies rocks hardcore, no doubts such as TDK, word spreads pretty quick and the movie rockets into history. On the other hand, if the movie bombs or is just OK, then the same is true. That’s why studios pay stooge movie critics to give them good scores, because people really do listen to others opinions when it comes to movies (which is why I like you site).

I'm a huge Cusack fan, but I'm not to sure how interested I am in that movie it sounds kind of (I can't believe I'm gonna say this Sorry John) dumb.

I thought Sahara was fairly enjoyable not great mind you, but entertaining enough I wouldn't hate a sequal certainly better than another predictable rom com. His last few movies have been the exact same thing.

@Ken x - I agree with you about dvd sales. As far as movie content quality goes, fanboys like us always complain about the cake, chocolate not vanilla, red instead of blue icing, and so forth, but that doesn't mean we won't still eat the cake. If we didn't have anything to complain about then Vic's site may not serve a purpose lol J/K Vic.

Wow "Obsessed" is really making some bank considering the budg was 20 mil.

Hey Oscar! I think your pretty cool bro, but there's no way "Wolverine" will beat "Star Trek" next weekend. Ah that was a good one! lmao...

@Walwus, piracy may not hurt ticket sales that much, but it probably hurts DVD sales quite a bit.

I think after all the complaining everyone did about wolverine, we still got a pretty good movie. Its hollywood, you have to expect them to change some things to make it work for them. I for one enjoyed it.

Well well well, it would seem that all the belly-aching and finger pointing about piracy by Hollywood would have been pre-mature. I would say 87.7 million for the 1st 3 days is a very respectable showing. What else is funny to me, is all these Hollywood producers, directors, and actors are all up in arms about piracy and how it hurts the business but it would seem that ticket sales, not revenue mind you, are up by 16% over the last 2 years. Now does that sound like something that is walking hand in hand with the information Hollywood is spouting right now about damaging sales and business? Without getting into the piracy (right or wrong) debate again, I find it hilarious that they claim one thing when another is actually happening.
