I feared Trek wouldn’t beat the $87 million Wolvie brought in, but $76 million is no chump change. I suspect Trek will be number 1 again next weekend with Angels and Demons coming in 2nd but I could be wrong.

Keanu as Jekyll and Hyde? Dude, that is soo not radical, bro.

I don’t think $28mil for Wolvie is that bad considering that Trek was opening this week. Yes, it’s a big drop off, but I suspect that next weekend Wolvie will probably do close to the same amount since it’s Angels and Demons opening. I bet if Trek didn’t play against Wolvie, Trek might have pushed the $90 mil mark. Should be interesting to see how things happen next weekend.

Why do studios keep giving Keanu Reeves serious roles? The man is as wooden as Pinnochio…whoa, now THERE’S a role for Keanu..a grown up Pinnochio!

AM I the only person who thinks the premise for THE DETAILS sounds really, really REALLY dumb??

He was not good in Dracula. I’m sure Hyde will be a big change with a lot of makeup, otherwise we’d never know when he was different.

Well there goes Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde because everyone knows Keneau Reeves can not act. I think the poor man would smother if he had to act his way out of a paper bag! I watched him do a really bad English accent in “Dracula”. I thought Keneau and Winonas’ accents were going to make me ill. Keneau sounded like a drunk Bill and Ted Adventure. I wondered if he had thought about getting voice lessons first? Whoa! I guess not!! Now he’s going to be in another British film? “What are they thinking”????? Are the people at Universal stupid or just desperate?? Oh God NOOOOOOOOO!!!
Well that film should make about $1.50 – I think they are screwed!!! Maybe they should just go ahead and make it a comedy now. That’s as funny to me as Matthew McConnagy getting the part of Lincoln in his upcoming movie. He has a strong Texas accent – gee, could’ve sworn Lincoln was from Kentucky!!! Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny must be running the studios now!!

28mil against Star Trek is amazing. The wolf took a bite out of Abrams piece of the action. Wow.

Jekyll and Hyde’s Excellent Adventure?? Whoa, that is classic, dude…

And all of the Star Trek puns in the beginning was pretty funny, haha. Too bad there wasn’t audio so you had to spell out that “Can” is pronounced “Khan” in that sentence.

Maybe you should have kept it going with: “It looks like the Hugh Jackman film will struggle to get to $200 million, but the film has already slashed though that barrier when foreign grosses are taken into account.” Yah, not as creative I know… lol
