Just as Paramount recently did with a batch of new Star Trek images, Warner Bros. has now done with Watchmen: They’ve released a blitz of six new Watchmen posters to six different websites.

But thanks to the power of the internet, we’ve gathered them all here for you to see (smaller versions out of consideration for the sites that premiered them). You can click on any of the images below to visit the sites where the high res versions reside.

It doesn’t look like Warner Bros. is terribly concerned about the Fox lawsuit – they’re ramping up the marketing on this bad boy like it’s still on target for it’s March 6th release date. I’ve got a feeling that the trailer that will be attached to Quantum of Solace is going to rock the house and give people not familiar with the original graphic novel a much better idea of what Watchmen is about.

As my buddy Alex at FirstShowing.net points out – what a week for movie geeks! We have a (hopefully) kick-ass followup to the James Bond reboot Casino Royale opening Friday, and not only that but Quantum of Solace will have new trailers for both Watchmen and Star Trek attached, on the heels of new poster releases for both of those this week.

  1. Those are some awesome posters

  2. YAY!

  3. Soooo Vic,

Gonna spoil that trailer for us???

  4. Anyone who has read the graphic novel: Doesn’t one of those posters sort of give away a major spoiler just by the wording? Just a thought.

  5. @Mark

I haven’t read the graphic novel, and I can’t piece together anything from those taglines, so you probably just think its a spoiler since you already know the story.

  6. Mark,
I thought the exact same thing.

I really hope that that poster and the trailer don’t add up to one serious spoiler.

I believe your right about the whole spoiler thing and it’s a major bummer because I haven’t read the G.N. Like having the most perfect paint job lift on you. ({:(

  8. Hrm. I have read the GN. The tagline refers to something that happens at the END of the movie (something that ISN’T in the GN btw). This is coming from stuff I read regarding the viewing last month.

    No worries.

  9. ya the last pic with ozymandias spoils it, but only if u read the book, but if u did read the book it doesnt matter, cuz u knew it was comin anyway, and since watchmen is so complex, ppl who havent read it wont be able to put the peices together, but i read on an interview with kevin smith, that the ending is different, he saw it twice, and he said they change the ending but its still good

  10. No matter how many posters of this movie I’ve seen, the ones that stand out always star Jeffrey Dean Morgan as The Comedian. He just looks so cool. And of course you can tell he’s a smart ass just by the poster. I think they did a great job on them. Kind of gives me a J. Jonah Jameson vibe too.

  11. The film has been released and those posters still look good. LOVE EM
