Just for fun here’s a mashup of the new Star Trek trailer everyone is raving about (including me) using footage from the original series. I’m sure someone could probably improve on this as it was pumped out pretty quickly, but it’s a decent job nonetheless and put a grin on my face.
For comparison purposes I’ve included the latest trailer first -- watch it first to refresh your memory and then watch the TOS version.

The best part is at the end title screen when it says “Sort of”
That trailer music is brilliant.
Yeah, I have to agree, I love the music. This trailer made me a little more excited. I still have my doubts, but *sigh* yeah, I’ll probably go see it, just because…what else is there?

There are lots of movies coming out in May along with Star Trek:
Wolverine
Terminator Salvation
Up
to name a few.
And is it just me or is the music in the latest Star Trek trailer from The Dark Knight?
