You may not have heard much about the film The Midnight Meat Train. It was based on a story by Clive Barker and was supposed to be released by Lionsgate. A while back there was a lot of buzz around this film due to the fact that Lionsgate basically “buried” the movie, releasing it on only about 100 screens throughout the entire U.S.

Clive Barker’s The Midnight Meat Train (featuring a cast led by Brooke Shields, Vinnie Jones, Bradley Cooper and Roger Bart) is now available for free online at the FEARnet website.
The film received a very limited run in theaters and has yet to be released on DVD, so in the spirit of Halloween, FEARnet (online and VOD) is making the film available to you. It’s the only place you can see the film right now.

I have heard about this, but I got nothing for it on demand. Which is annoying because I really want to check this out, so at least I can see it online though.

Limiting MMT to limited release then putting it online for free was what Joe Drake wanted to do to Punisher: War Zone, just as he did with a dozen other projects that were green lit under his predecessor.

Well I watched it and thought it was pretty good. Very grim and nasty, and the end was fitting, if not a total surprise. But it had tension and a lot of gore and Vinnie was very good I thought. Basically it did what promised, short, sharp and nasty.
Personally I could see the Japanese influence from the director too, especially with the creepy feel and bizarre moments.
This is an awesome horror movie, best ive seen in years..vinnie jones is really scary..
