10 Post Credit Scenes You Wanted Spiderman In

It took eight whole years, but we finally got it: Peter Parker was finally in a post credit scene in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that teased the new Spider-Man Homecoming film. It all started with Iron Man back in 2008. After the credits, Nick Fury said he wanted to put together a team, which got everyone excited about the potential of seeing the web-slinger and many other heroes join forces in the Avengers. The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, another Iron Man, another Thor, another Captain America, another Avengers, even Ant-Man came and went and still there was no sign of Spider-Man. It wasn’t until Spider-Man was cast in Captain America: Civil War that fans could rejoice knowing he was part of the MCU. You’d think that a superhero of his caliber would have been revealed a long time ago, but Marvel just never got around to it. Instead, they decided to reveal him mid-film in a Captain America movie. They even tarnished his big reveal by showing him in some of the trailers for the movie. Granted it was a huge movie that garnered critical and financial success, but Spider-Man is…Spider-Man! His introduction should have been much more thematic. Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice made the same mistake. Instead of having the characters be revealed organically, it was forced via an email! No one wants to see the Flash revealed in a jpeg. Superheroes are super, and therefore deserve their own epic introductions. What better way to do so than to showcase them as a big reveal in a post credit scene.
