Venom and Carnage are two of the most terrifying symbiotes in the Marvel Universe, but in a new body paint cosplay by @marinaeloise, the pair of villains are even scarier than usual. In the cosplay, which creatively uses only body paint to recreate the looks of both Venom and Carnage, both villains are ready to attack with their mouths wide open and their sharp teeth ready to take a bite of whatever hero their about to face off with.
When Peter Parker returned to Earth following the epic Marvel Comics Secret Wars event, he came back with a new look, sporting a black symbiote suit. However, Spider-Man quickly realized the suit was corrupting him and much more dangerous than he initially believed, leading him to abandon the symbiote. The creature would eventually bond with Eddie Brock as the disgraced reporter would become Venom. Venom, created by Todd McFarlane and David Michelinie, became a key Spider-Man villain over the years before becoming an anti-hero, then the all-powerful King in Black. The second most notable symbiote is the supervillain Carnage, an offspring of the Venom symbiote who bonded with serial killer Cletus Kassady. Both characters fought in live-action against one another for the first time in the recent Venom: Let There Be Carnage film starring Tom Hardy and Woody Harrelson.
Body paint cosplayer @marinaeloise recently shared her take on Venom and Carnage on her Instagram account. The cosplayer does justice to both characters, using her own body and body paint to bring them to life in stunning detail. Both Carnage and Venom's bright white eyes and sharp teeth are on full display, with the original symbiote villain's long tongue poking out like it's about to feast on its next meal. Both Venom and Carnage are comic-accurate and terrifying.
The body paint cosplays are fantastic. @marinaeloise using her body as a canvas led to an excellent recreation of the symbiote characters - who aren't the easiest to cosplay, especially with just body paint and no tendrils or other features. Venom and Carnage are two disgusting, horrifying creatures who give heroes and villains serious problems. The cosplay definitely emphasizes their terrifying nature.
Between @marinaeloise's Venom and Carnage symbiote body paint cosplays and ones we've recently featured, including She-Venom and Anti-Gwenom, there is an impressively nasty group of symbiotes forming in the cosplay world. The Venom and Carnage cosplay is definitely worthy of joining the rest of them among the best symbiote cosplays out there.
