Katie Maloney-Schwartz has fellow Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent's back after Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi accused her of cheating. GG, who has starred on Shahs of Sunset since its debut in 2012, is friends with Lala's ex Randall Emmett, a producer. After first meeting back in 2015, Lala and Randall finally went public in 2018; the two ended things last October after a three-year engagement. Just months after welcoming daughter Ocean in March 2021, Lala began dropping hints of Emmett's infidelity. Despite the level of entertainment this former couple brought to fans of reality television—including an iconic feud with rapper 50 Cent—Lala officially cut ties with her child's father two months ago and has been telling her side of the story since.

Since their breakup, Lala has not been shy about her new feelings towards Emmett, frequently mentioning him and his wrong-doings in interviews and social media posts. While fans and other reality stars have offered support to Lala during this time, GG does not feel as sympathetic. Hopping on Twitter to voice her dissatisfaction with Lala's amount of attention, GG brought up her one-time fling with fellow Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, who has been in a relationship with Tom Sandoval since 2014. In a now-deleted tweet, GG flipped the script by accusing Lala of possessing the same behavior as Emmett: "If I recall correctly u were bragging about going down on your castmate & the timeline puts u in a relationship at that time. Cheater?”

While several of Lala's coworkers have stayed relatively silent on the matter, Katie has jumped to her defense in an exclusive interview with Page Six. Mentioning that “It’s hard when people don’t really know enough about the situation,” Katie spoke to GG directly: “You don’t really know what you’re saying here.” The 35-year-old also defended Lala publicly discussing her failed relationship with Emmett, explaining, “That’s her choice. [Lala] can handle this however she wants to handle it. Why [is GG] publicly speaking on something that has nothing to do with [her]?" In response to Katie, GG took to Twitter once again. Directly replying under Page Six's tweet of the report, the 40-year-old laughed, "Katie, girrrrl... AAAAHHHAHAHAHAHHAA!!!! Keep it coming with the clap-back baby girl, I like that! Just make sure you let me know when you're ready for me to get started on your a**."

With the finale of Vanderpump Rules season 9 airing last night, Lala has uploaded a teaser of Bravo's upcoming three-part reunion. With the caption "Shaking in my Nikes," Lala and her costars briefly touch on Emmett's wrongdoings in a short trailer; his transgressions will no doubt be expanded on in the full-length episodes. Appearing remotely, Lala lectured to the others that "Randall creeping around on [her] should have been brought to [her] attention." With Scheana Shay and James Kennedy speaking about rumors of Emmett's misgivings, Lala tearfully exclaimed, "The fact that this man, he made me feel safe enough to bring a child into this world...I feel disgusted." Despite the serious subject, GG is not the only one to snark about Lala's delicate situation, with Brock Davies, Charli Burnett, and boss Lisa Vanderpump seemingly shading her.

Lala is not the only new mother (or the latest single person) on Vanderpump Rules, as four ladies all had children around the same time. Lala, Brittany Cartwright, and Stassi Schroader eventually confirmed the existence of a pregnancy pact; Scheana, the fourth girl involved, gave birth to her daughter Summer last April. With only three episodes left of season nine, Lala's turmoil with Emmett is not the only relationship under a microscope following the breakup of James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss. While there's no word on the tenth season of Vanderpump Rules yet, viewers still have a lot of drama in store to watch.
