So far this season had been flawless. First episode was great, the second was phenomenal, and the ending of the third gave me chills down the back of my spine. I have ALWAYS said that Sam was Lucifer’s vessel and when he didint inhabit his body I just didint get it. But now it all makes sense, and to be honest I like this approach more. I hope that Sam does give in- but Dean does not to Michael- and that Dean is faced with making a difficult choice.

I think that God will intervene but I would prefer NOT to see hiom but rather have some aknowledgmenet that Dean or Castiel spoke with him. (those 2 are the people I see speaking to him) SOme how though I have a feeling that we will see him inhabit some person’s body and come to earth near the final episodes; probably be Sam and Dean’s father’s body

Totally agree here… they’ve pulled out all the stops for this season. … so far.

I finished watching the 2nd season and need to get the 3rd, but I have watched the first 2 episodes of this season and am very interested in seeing how this all came about in the 3rd season. I don’t know if anyone is a Christian or into religion but I see a parallel between the book of Revelation and Supernatural. Dean and Sam could be the 2 messengers that the bible talks about that die and come back to life (as Dean and Sam have already done). As good as this show is, I can see how this season might be the last; it’s all building to the final confrontation.

Season 4 episode was definately the point where the show switched gears and went from a good show to one of the best on TV

SUPERNATURAL epi “The End” was phenomenal. Damn!!!!

This episode was something else…very, very, VERY well done…

While this season was very good so far, I have been lingering on Kripke’s words since the beginning that Lucifer would be sympathetic and not a manipulative bastard but after seeing Jared portray him I can’t see it. I wanted to smack the Devil both times this and last episode. He just sounds so smug and the “I was damned for loving God” is a weak gimmick.

I think fans predicted Sam was going to be Lucifer’s vessel, hence the special child thing since the first mention about Lucifer in the series.

Right now I think I want to see Sam in Detroit but now with Dean and in a kill or be killed moment Sam looks like he’ll give in but shoot the Devil with the colt instead. That could be a good finish or it could be right as Dean agrees to have Michael take over so it’ll build up to another finish.

I hear ya tapsole. He sells his pitch like a real estate agent. I hate it too.

Sam being the vessel… I should have seen that coming too, but I was distracted by other noise.
