This season’s 2009 series finales are now upon us. A few shows have already come to a close for the season, but there are still many that have yet to close out their run for 2009.
The finale list has been broken into two parts. The first part is ordered by date. Below that is an alphabetical list by show. Mid-May looks pretty intense. I hope we don’t burn out our DVRs.
Mark your calendars! And, enjoy!

Screen Rant readers: Here’s the perfect place to weigh in on things you’d like to see us try to cover more of. This is a (quasi) democracy, so I’m going to be tallying votes here from the comment section. Let us know what shows you’d like to see more coverage on and we’ll do our best to dig up the dirt and the details. Don’t be shy now. We want to hear from everyone because like they say, every vote counts! Thanks for stopping by.

Great list, very usefull. Thanks a lot Bruce.
About that last part, I am (obvious since I mostly comment about that) big Chuck fan. I’d be most grateful if you guys covered the big news in that department: is it coming back for a third season?
Other than that, covering How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory would make me even happier.
Keep up the good work. Love the site. =)
I’m really interested in what shows are going to play after these finish, as there’s obviously going to be a few empty spots in the schedule!
I like your article. I like the extensive list you have provided of season finales.
Perhaps I missed something though as I am noo that familiar with your website.
Do you list forthcoming summer 2009 as well as next fall’s tv schedule?
I ask because I like to prepare a list of shows I want to watch or tape ahead of time.
For your information, I am not sure if I have OCD or not. I have four tvs and four vcr’s as well as one dvd recorder which I do not know how to set up as yet.
This past season, I taped about 30 (THIRTY) tv shows, and purchased about 200 video tapes to do that.
I have tapes dating back to 1992, seriously. I dd have back to 1989, burt as I am ‘Between Jobs” (LOL) I get lotsa time to watch them.
Additional info: It annoys me that surveys base themselves on families having one tv. “Which show are you watching tonight?” They do not allow me to tell them that I am taping about 6-7 shows during the week.
Because of this, and it’s your chice, I would like a reply, if possible.
Thanks.
Bob Banks.
