Though most of the characters in Among Us look the same with the exception of the different colors, players also have the opportunity to customize their spacemen with hats, skins, masks, and even pets. Until December 18, players on any platform have the chance to unlock a new free pet, the Twitch Glitch pet. This little Twitch logo icon will follow the player around as they complete tasks or sabotage the map and kill other players. How to Unlock The Twitch Glitch Pet in Among Us
To claim the free Twitch Glitch pet, players will first need to link their Twitch account to their Among Us game. To do this, players should open their game and click the gear icon to access their Settings.
Then, they will need to click the Data tab and click the Twitch Glitch icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen. It can be found next to the Manage Data Collection and Privacy Policy buttons.
Players will be redirected to Twitch, where they can input their information and log in. Once they are in their account, they can click Authorize for Among Us Drops.
While still logged into their Twitch account, players will need to watch 30 minutes of TwitchRivals Among Us Showdown streams. After watching for 30 minutes, the Twitch Glitch pet will unlock. Players will need to click Claim in either the Chat panel or their Drops inventory, then allow Twitch to open Among Us to add the pet to their game.
Players can do this any time between December 4 and December 18 to claim their free, exclusive Twitch Glitch pet. They will need to update their game to the latest version to link their account to Twitch. This is likely to be a popular cosmetic option, as it is the first pet to be available free in the game.
