You weren’t kidding about the unflattering part. This toy makes the monster look really awful. Looks like King Kong would rip it apart!!!

Uh oh, I think I just game them an idea for the sequel… :P

about sequel: what about “aladygma”? is the next cloverfield or what? maybe just a j.j. abrams movie? or just another top secret movie?

Should have had McFarlane make it! It looks horrible compared to the movie.

IMHO, looks more like a bat without the wing skin; add breathing bladders and two extra arms.
Hope the mother looks meaner.

Wow, Heath, thanks.

I know about the mystique and the experiential nature of Cloverfield. But there’s something just wrong about a movie where you don’t see the main subject clearly–until a month later, as a toy.

Adrian-yes, reminds me of a bat too. But mostly, it looks deformed and just doesn’t “compute.” That’s good, it means it’s truly alien.

Not sure the crossed eye look is not silly.

What’s with the stain around Miss Liberty’s head? Is that blood? Cerebral fluid? What did the French stuff her with? Is it sweet cream? Was she a giant pastry all this time?

Thanks for the photos Heath!

The creature looks pretty acurate from what I remember in the film. In some of the shots it looks like it has taken damage.
What a wicked creature.
