‘Two and a Half Men’ Season 10 Adds Miley Cyrus

19-year-old actress and singer, Miley Cyrus, will be guest-starring for a two-episode arc in the upcoming season 10 of Two and a Half Men. Apparently, Cyrus will play an old family friend of internet billionaire Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher) named Missi, who also develops a relationship with Jake (Angus T. Jones) when he comes home from the Army.

Also making an appearance this season on Two and a Half Men will be Grammy Award-winning singer Michael Bolton who will guest star as a somewhat fictionalizes version of himself. Series stars Jon Cryer, Angus T. Jones and Ashton Kutcher are all returning for at least one more year – but co-creator Lee Aronsohn will be stepping down from his position as series showrunner to be replaced by executive producers Don Reo and Jim Patterson.

Miley Cyrus (born Destiny Hope Cyrus) is probably best known for her role on Disney Channel’s hit musical sitcom Hannah Montana. The show ran for five years and produced a number of chart-topping songs and a movie that was number one its opening weekend. Two and a Half Men‘s Angus T. Jones actually guest-starred on Hannah Montana in its finale season as Hannah’s rich neighbor T.J.

Cyrus recently made headlines by the (perceived) rash decision to get married at just 19 to on-and-off-again boyfriend Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger GamesThe Expendables 2). She also triggered plenty of Twitter buzz by impulsively hacking off her auburn locks in favor of a short platinum blonde fusion of a Mohawk and bob that makes her sort of resemble Draco Malfoy from Harry Potter. Miley’s new do has also initiated lots of criticism and even a small Twitter battle between Cyrus and 79-year-old comedian Joan Rivers. The always unmuzzled Rivers (who also recently had a hilarious Twitter altercation with R&B singer Rihanna) tweeted:

“Jennifer Aniston once popularized a hairstyle called ‘The Rachel.’ Miley Cyrus has done the same with her cut known as ‘The Meds Wore Off.’”

Cyrus attempted to keep it classy by not responding directly to the veteran comedian, so instead she simply said:

Ignorance isn’t bliss, It’s IGNORANT.

Despite her penchant for causing drama on and off screen, Cyrus has had much success in her various endeavors. She is multi-platinum recording artist and the youngest-ever recording artist with four #1 albums in less than three years. Cyrus is currently recording her forthcoming studio album due out next year.

Two and a Half Men returns for a tenth season Thursday, September 27th @ 8:30pm on CBS.

  1. Are they going to have someone water-ski over a CGI shark too ?

  2. the show started sucking when they kept repeating the same formula of charlie always messing up a relationship and ending up back to being a drunk, love sick puppy. the addition of ashton kutcher and the less frequent appearance of jack (one of the 3 mains btw) just added salt to the wound.

they should just end this train wreck, even with sheen the show felt boring (around the time of charlies last ‘love interest’) and the jokes got stale (mostly the same jokes done again and again).

    • I think you mean Jake :)

  3. This show is a stale cracker, and needs to stop. Miley is only making it more stale.

Watch the new Charlie Sheen show. It’s funnier than this snore fest.

    • I wonder when they’ll have Miley go to bed with Alan, and then after that she’ll get together with Jake… and then after that she and Rose can stalk Walden. Gawd, how long does it take a show to wash out its manure. Do we have to suffer a season 11?

  4. OH NO!The series was perfect, but as Charlie left it fell from grace, losing so much value.Adding Miley Cyrus?Seriously, who’s next?Justin Bieber. For God’s sake if this is true that’s the end of Two and Half Men for me.

    • Oh…I forgot that you are a good actor…so we need to see you in this season. I think you should shut the f*** up.

  5. Last season was terrible. All they did was try to get cheap laughs with implied nudity, rude jokes and all the ways to hurt Alan. Jake has also grown from being a lovable klutz to a complete pot-smoking bag of rocks. And now they’re trying to improve things by bringing in a teenage celebrity? Man, the series is starting to look like a bad high school movie.

    • Couldn’t agree more.
Season 9 shouldn’t even have happened. I’ll admit there were a few funny moments that did make me laugh, but it wasn’t worth sitting through the rest of the crap.

I’m done with the show now. There’s some pretty good comedies and sitcoms on tv lately, and since they killed off Charie Harper, Two and a Half Men isn’t on that list anymore.

  6. AAAHHH! Is that Miley Cyrus? I thought it was a panda on crack!

  7. Unlike the haters above I’m actually interested (not that I usually watch Two and a Half Men), but when will her episodes air?

    • I to belive that some people only see others for what is on the out side, and can not belive that a persons real self comes from within. Miley you are a wonderful young lady and can play many parts, Attress, singer, daughter, friend, and someone who knows how to perform your part in any show or movie. You did a great job on Two and Half Men tonight,I really loved your character Missi who couldn’t stop talking and wouldn’t let anyone else talk, I felt like I was listening to my own 19 year old daughter she is just like Missi in almost all of role. Thanks for the laughs I hope to see you do more stuff on TV.

  8. Honestly, I thought that the show stunk last season and yet i kept watching. Really don’t know whats wrong with me and whats wrong with America, this show has just become one big fart joke.

While I am not a fan of Ashton Kutcher (never have been) I wouldn’t blame him for the show’s downfall, its the writing. The writing has gone south on this show and Ashton’s chraracter just doesnt fit in.

The show was funny because of Charlie Sheen yet, but moreover because of the character Charlie Harper. The character was just a cynical douche that cheated his way through life and wound up with lots of money and an abundance of women. Watching him reap the benefits of his life while his hard working brother struggled was funny in itself.

I really think that they should have had Ashton continue one with teh character of Charlie Harper. He could have had plastic surgery and added 10-15 years back to his youth, it would have been pretty funny to see that and to see someone else play the character.

I really dont see the show going on past this season, but for Jon Cryer I think it would be a very bold move if Anger Management found a way to lure him into that show. A reunion of the two would only bolster ratings and add to the laughing factor of the show.

  9. “Draco Malfoy” HAHAHA *dead*

    • Stop me when I begin to lie lol

  10. WOW! Hannah Montana AND Michael Bolton?! On the same show?! Maybe they can get Henry Winkler on water skis too! ;-D~

  11. I agree with you guys. This show is as close to jumping the shark as possible without actually filming it. My coworker at Dish and I decided the best thing would have been if the show had not come back after Charlie Sheen quit. Ashton is better in this than he was in That 70s Show, but that’s not saying much. I think I’m going to pull this show from my regular show viewing rotation and just let my Hopper DVR take care of it. The cool thing about the Hopper is: it will record Two and a Half Men and all the prime time shows without me setting a reminder. When I get around to watching the new episodes I can watch with the commercials or I can have them pre-skipped by the Hopper. It might make the show better if I don’t have to watch the commercials.

    • Plug Dish much?

  12. I find Jake cute :)

  13. well if you dont like the show why did you keep watching? I like em

  14. This just needs to stop. I tried to watch it just so that I could make a valid comparison to the real show with Charlie. But let’s face it… Charlie WAS the sitcom 2 and a half men.

Ashton Kutcher thinks that being the highest paid is what it’s all about. Too bad for him. And another one bites the dust.

They may last another season, but that is only due to the machine that is hollywood. Trying so hard to punish Charlie. Too bad, Anger Management is now syndicated with 90 more episodes in the works. I am thrilled!!!

I love his new show, GREAT cast and GREAT Charlie. As usual. And at least I can still watch hundreds of old episodes of 2 1/2 men when Charlie was the reason I watched.
