I think the public is distrustful, wary and wonder about any one in business making a seemingly innocent, out in the open rating without something to gain. This means instead of reliance on mainstream media, the shift is to the guy and gal in the street. The dude or dudette that has zip, zilch, nada for a reason to spin, stretch, mislead or provide a propaganda twist with a hidden agenda. Like a member of a dozen people on a jury, I trust the brain power, tastes, talent of my fellow man. More than corporate America that can be a tad snarky, curled lip or ooey gooey sickening sweet if it wants something involving a credit card number, an expiration date, that little three digit secret code on the back of the plastic.

Thanks for the review :) You really did an excellent job explaining what it is that TwitCritics does.

Our goal is to develop the site that our users want. So we released the early beta to get feedback and take the site in the right direction. As the days and weeks go on you should see the site grow and improve.

If you have any feedback/questions/criticism we'd love to hear from you. Our contact info is on the site.

The fact that Law Abiding Citizen has a 90% tells me all I need to know about TwitCritics. The general movie-going public has terrible taste.

It's not a bad idea if you want a quick opinion about a movie but people's opinions that I don't know don't have much value to me.
