The marketing certainly seems to be ramping up for the Twilight vampire/romance movie. Just a couple of days ago we showed you the new poster feature Edward and Bella, and today we have a couple of new super-hi-res images of the lovely couple as well.
In addition to that, at the time I write this we have a countdown to the new (and presumably, final) Twilight trailer shown below. When the countdown hits zero you’ll be able to see the trailer right here.

So… I will admit that this trailer makes the movie look far better than the previous two or the footage that was shown at Comic-Con. I think for fans, this will get them even more psyched for the film. For non-fans? Maybe.
Before, the movie looked like something that might air on The CW – along the lines of Supernatural or Smallville. Now it does look better than a typical teen/young-twenty-something TV show.

My favorite thing about the trailer/footage I’ve seen has been the villain(s). I’m sorry but Edward and Bella seem too “washed out” to me – I like the “edge” I see in the blonde guy who plays the main villain. Looks like he’s really having fun with the role.
While I’m certainly not looking forward to this, it looks like it might not be as bad as I had anticipated.
Twilight opens on November 21st, 2008 in the U.S. and December 19th, 2008 the U.K.

People should be nices with the cast that was pick in good faith to fit every character in the book to fit the movie. An i happy that the gentleman playing Edward is Perfect. Thank you Peaces out.

The Widget worked just fine for me. However, it’s also on Myspace now, and it’s in HD which is MUCH better than viewing it on the tiny widget.
The trailer looks great in my opinion. I’m certainly excited moreso than ever now. There were a couple of things that made me raise an eyebrow but, I have to except that not EVERYTHING is going to be by the book and certainly not everything will be as I imagined it in my head.
But all in all, I think Twilight will be a great first film to set the stage for the more action packed films that will follow it (New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn).

Not bad, ala Lost Boys for the new millennia. Probably go see it. Can’t be worse than some of the stuff out there now a days. Interesting the resurgence of the vampire themes. Doubt this will be as good as True Blood, little too teenie, but should do well with it’s demographic target. IMHO.

I thought the trailer was great. I really loved the music. It made it have a kind of creepy feeling, especially when the villains come in. Anyway, I am excited about the movie and think it is going to be great.

And ‘Rob’ that ‘I’d rather die than stay away from you’ was a tribute for the novel fans… That’s one of the lines that got immortalized in internet graphics after the book became popular. In the book it’s a bit different… Bella is explaining why she’s still there with Edward when she find out how dangerous he is… she says, “You already know how I feel. I’m here. Which basically means I’d rather die than stay away from you…” Or something like that (sorry Twilight fans if my quote is off)
But by this point, he’s already saved her life more than once

I don’t know if that’s word for word, but that’s basically what was said..
And I know it has to be a little cheesy of a movie… I mean, thinking of some of the more romantic moments in the book… well the dialogue used will be hard to say outloud without sounding a tinsy bit mushy and cliched… But hey, I will love it anyway!!!! I’m excited to see the book ‘brought to life’

Must say that favorite is the banner up top. Makes the vamps look like vamps! Everything looked so pansyish up till that. Still not that interested in the movie, tho. Tried reading the book and just didn’t like it.
