Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Teaser Clip Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 Teaser Clip Features Vampire Wedding

Recently, we discovered that Lionsgate’s Hunger Games film series would take a cue from Harry Potter and Twilight – maximizing potential revenue by adding an extra film to the original book trilogy. Just as work on the next young-adult novel-turned high-profile film series began amping-up, Twilight faithful are also gearing-up for part 1 of Breaking Dawn, the final book (and second to last film) in the beloved Vampire-love series.

It’s going to be a bittersweet year and a half for fans – kicking-off with a short teaser clip, and formal inviation, to the wedding of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.

Earlier this year we reported on a quote from Robert Pattinson who, if you’ve been living under a rock (or try and avoid melodramatic vampire love stories), plays fan-favorite blood-sucker Cullen – speaking about the mature content featured in the final Twilight book, much of which was at least shot for the film:

“I just can’t see how it’s going to be PG-13 … unless they cut everything out… There’s some interesting and weird stuff going on — really very, very, very strange. It’s great. For a big, mainstream movie, it’s the most obscure storyline and really outside the box. It’s a horror movie.”

Despite the fact that much of the mature content will appear off-screen, anyone who has read the book knows that the blissful and serene wedding scene featured in the new clip is the impetus for a batch of flat-out disturbing moments, and one especially gratuitous scene, leading-up to the finale.

Check out your cordial invitation “to the event that will change everything” below:

Think you’re excited for Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1? Judging by the smirk on Pattinson’s face, you’re probably not the only one. No doubt the teaser succeeds in delivering on what will surely be an epic moment in the series – giving fans snap glimpses at Pattinson and other key characters without revealing Bella in full. The use of Two Steps from Hell’s track “Infinite Legends” is a bizarre fit for the teaser – even when taking into consideration the scope of the conflict that will be featured in the proceeding events.

If the teaser took your breath away, then you probably already know that Twilight headliners Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be presenting a longer first-look Breaking Dawn clip at this year’s MTV Movie Awards – airing Sunday night. We’ll be sure to get that footage up on the site as well – whenever it drops online.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 hits theaters this fall on November 18th. Part 2 will arrive next year on November 16th.

  1. No Comment

  2. Haha the music sounds like everyones lives have been leading up to this exact moment. Was this the trailer used for the royal wedding?

  3. I see stephanie meyer lmao

  4. Its way to dramatic for something like that.

  5. “It’s a horror movie,” he says. The guy’s a moron. I’m glad these movies are coming to an end.

    • Dear Alex if you have nothing nice to say about it if you don’t like the movie then don’t watch because you are wasting your time posting a comment that doesn’t make sense.

      • Dear KT,

I just re-read my post and it actually makes perfect sense. These movies are not even close to being horror movies. And if you don’t like my posts then don’t read them, same logic.

        Yours truly,

        Alex

  6. “An event that will change everything”? Hell yes! We have another Avatar, Godfather, Toy Story, Jaws, Lord of the Rings and Schindler’s List!

Seriously? This is beyond ridiculous. An event that will change everything my ass.

    • i agree. TWILIGHT SUCKS

  7. gay

  8. Im not being funny but the people putting stupid comments like gay and glad they coming to an end and all this, why even bother coming on the website or posting a comment :/ sad x

    • People like us bash it, people like you raise your noses up and defend it. Endless cycle with these sites. But isn’t what this is all about? Debating on a movie? Wouldn’t these articles be boring if there wasn’t a little confrontation? Even if it’s sometimes a little elementary?
I’ll tell you why I come and read this article even though the movies are terrible ( just so you know, I gave them a chance. I even read three out of the four books and I couldn’t even finish the series it was so terrible one-dimensional): Kristen Stewart. Some people hate her. I like her. I like her acting and I like her style. Period. Nothing more.

  9. dear people who are slagging of twilight if you dont like it then why are you commenting?

    thats logic!!!!!!!!!
    thanks :)

  10. I’m a closet Twilight nerd…but I’m not reading past Eclipse because Jacob imprints on Bella’s kid and I always just think of him as kidding, joking, friendly Jacob. Not madly in love with a vampire/human. And Edward and Bella will always just be Edward and Bella. There is no wedding in my mind. I actually would’ve liked the series more if there was no Breaking Dawn… -.O
