Fall TV 2013: 10 Best New Show Trailers

10-best-new-show-trailersLast week ABC, CBS, CW, NBC and Fox announced their new 2013 fall line-ups, including shows from J.J. Abrams (Almost Human), Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Sleepy Hollow) and Joss Whedon (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.). But with over 40+ new shows set to air this year, it can be a bit challenging to watch every single one.So, to help make things a bit easier, here’s a list of 10 best new TV show trailers for the Fall 2013 season. Now, to be fair, great pilot trailers aren’t always indicative of the quality of the series. However, what great trailers do show is a series' potential to tell great stories in the future. We'll start with the dramas, then the comedies, and then finish it all off with a couple honorable mentions at the end. Enjoy!

  1. Almost human, shield, And the Michael J fox show.

    • I agree.

  2. ‘Almost Human’ and ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ are definitely on my watchlist.
I might check out ‘The Crazy Ones’ (just ’cause of Robin Williams) and ‘The Michael J. Fox Show’ as well…

  3. almost human, agents of shield, the micheal j fox show, sleepy hollow, and maybe the blacklist

  4. Most of the time when movie actors move to television it means that their movie career isn’t doing to well. I hope that is not the case with Karl Urban. I think he is a great actor and I enjoy his movies. I don’t know why he is doing “I Robot” on T.V.?

    • Closer to Isaac Asimov’s “Caves of Steel” (or the other Elijah Bailey / Daneel Olivaw detective novels) rather than “I, Robot”

  5. Why don’t they put the Title of the show on most of these entries????

  6. Almost human=iRobot

    • Nahh Caves of Steel. Still Asimov of course.

  7. The Almost Human trailer and Karl Urban doing “that mouth” in the still just makes me want a Dredd series.

  8. Almost Human. Also known as a ripoff of Caves of Steel.

  9. I want them to cancel the Maggie Lawson and James Caan show before it begins. Then she can stay and do more Psych.

  10. I am so tired of the car coming from nowhere and slamming into the star’s vehicle. It is so terribly overused.

  11. James Spader was awesome in Boston Legal. I’m still not sold on The Blacklist, though.

  12. I could watch all of these, except that stupid Crazy Ones, God I hate Robin Williams

  13. I am so sick of what these people call comedies, They are to silly to be funny. Would love to have more drama, and cop show.

  14. Almost human, agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Once upon a time in wonderland and Sleepy hollow. Two of them are on Fox. Between Sleepy Hollow and Almost human, I wonder which one will last longer before cancellation; this is Fox we’re talking about (Terminator; the Sarah Connor chronicles, Touch, Firefly, Dollhouse, to name a few)

    • You have to give them credit for sticking with Fringe when they weren’t even making money off the show. Fox hasn’t really canceled a “fan-favorite” series in quite some time.

      • Do you think that maybe because Anna Torv is the only star of a FOX television series to be related to media mogul Rupert Murdoch MIGHT have something to do with it?

        Be seeing you.

    • The cancelation of FireFly is the most disappointed I have ever been about losing a show.

  15. So Almost Human is basically if Judge Dredd was in I Robot.

  16. “a single-camera workplace comedy about a larger-than-life advertising genius whose unorthodox methods and unpredictable behavior would get him fired…if he weren’t the boss.”

    Robin Williams as Michael Scott?

That sounds so amazingly bad, I can’t wait to watch it.

  17. Definitely S.H.I.E.L.D and Crazy Ones. Most likly Almost Human. Maybe Black List.

  18. Fox’s Sleepy Hollow should be on this list.

  19. Blacklist, Almost Human, Michael J. Fox and Robin Williams

  20. WOW! “Tropy Wife” sounds awful

  21. Welcome to the family…

White and latino family because if it was a black family, well that would offend someone.

    • I agree, and would have loved to see a family that looks like mine on tv.

  22. H O S T A G E S

  23. The Blacklist, The Michael J. Fox Show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Believe, Crisis, Mind Games, Super Fun Night and The Crazy Ones

    • are you looking forward to the Emmy awards ?

best actor TV movie will either be al pacino for ‘phil spector’ or michael douglas for ‘liberace’

  24. Sleepy Hollow! Once upon a Time in Wonderland is promising (yes, I know, it’s flawed, but fun). SHIELD, of course. Blacklist is well done (Spader is great) but too dark/violent for my taste. And it’s been ages (decades, perhaps) since anyone has made a comedy series that appealed to my demographic (i.e., would like something non-silly, non-raunchy, and with genuine humor). Ah, well.

  27. Data was cool and, as Wu alluded to above, he got some loving. I wonder if they’ll take this character in some unexpected directions. I didn’t watch it last night. Maybe I’ll check it out. Oh, shoutout to Small Wonder. You remember that show?
