If you dig the aesthetic of the Tron universe, especially the updated (and sweet) looking Tron world we’ll see later this year in its sequel, then you’ll dig this new animated Tron Legacy poster coming from Walt Disney Germany (via Latino Review).

The poster features the one vehicle Batman wishes he had in the infamous light cycle and in this special poster, you can take the word “light” for its literal meaning. For those following Tron updates, you’ll recognize this particular image as one of the recently released Tron Legacy billboards – only this time, its much more flashy.

Tron Legacy Synopsis:

Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn, looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant, father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

For a deeper look into what we can expect from the visual effects laden big budget 3D flick, check out the awesome Tron Legacy teaser trailer which includes a set of images taken from the video.

Too bad we can’t put posters like that on our wall… yet.

Tron Legacy stars Jeff Bridges, Garrett Hedlund, Michael Sheen, Olivia wilde, Serinda Sawn, Bruce Boxleitner and John Hurt. It is directed by Joseph Kosinski and opens in theaters and IMAX on December 17th, 2010. We’ll be there.
