Well, I’m not a big fan of late sequels. It just gives me the idea they just can’t think of new and fresh ideas anymore. Just leave the past where it is, Tron was part of the culture back then. It would be like bringing back the Goonies in a “MP3 and laptop”-age, it just doesn’t fit. (Oh wait, they are bringing back the Goonies…)

Most of the movies that are out there, do not need a sequel, even after a year or two. Hollywood needs to know when to stop.

Tron, in my mind, is classic. i also think that Tron 2 is a great idea. unlike other sequels like terminator, star wars, and anything that involves tom cruise.

Thank God they are making a sequel….I mean, C’mon…..the original didn’t even BOTHER to put in the token supermodels, like this one is.

Loved Tron. A remake could be very good due to the superior tech, and great to know Bridges is in too.

How can you say it is ruined and it hasn’t even been made and there are barely any details of the movie out?? I hardly think that TRON was a classic film; it was a pretty good popcorn flick in it’s day. I’m interested to see what they make of it.

the comicon teaser was cool.
i think after the end of tron 1,
that Jeff’s character
(who has became the head of the company) has become corrupt with power andwith his nolage of the mainframe and what it can do, and has become the power hungry
“Bad guy” for the sequal.

thats just a theory that poped in to my head.
