There’s a fun new site out that’s connected to the upcoming Star Trek movie. It allows you to upload a picture of yourself and change yourself into either a Starfleet officer, a Vulcan or a Romulan.
The cool thing is that it doesn’t just create a static image – you map different points to your facial features and they animate the image. It’s cool, fun and creepy all at once. You can even enter a custom message in text and watch and hear yourself say it.
Check me out below. 
Sure there’s lots of product placement (for Cheeze-Its of all things) but it’s well worth it. I tried Starfleet officer and Vulcan – but in the end I make a pretty cool Romulan.

Hahah, yeah, hopefully when Trek2 swings around, OddCast will include Klingons Ferenghi and… uh… the Borg for us to mess around with.
The creepy thing about these is how they manage to incorporate head movement from a static image….

That’s mine. Sadly only decent pic I could find had my head facing the other way slightly so it comes out looking funny. My wife is pissed that doing it for girls sucks. It’s a little biased towards men.

Hey Vic, do you know if they will upgrade trekyourself to have Klingons, Ferengis, etc…?
I doubt it – I would guess that they’re only doing folks that appear in the film.
