Great news about Chuck! I love this show and I am looking forward to it almost nearly as much as I am the return of “24″. “Chuck” and “Heroes” back together on Monday nights! (I HOPE!)

As for Trauma, if NBC wanted to keep an emergency medical drama around, they should have just hung onto ER for another season. Personally, I am SICK of those types of shows as they are being done to death. I didn’t even bother watching it. Also, who WOULDN’T watch the Duct Tape episode of Mythbusters over rehashed medical drama? That episode was AWESOME and has made me wish that I had a duct tape boat!!! Once House goes away, I wish the networks would just let medical dramas go away for 5 years or so to enable them to come up with another good one. ER was a great show, but it jumped the shark 5 or 6 years ago and no longer became a must see…much like most of NBC’s current lineup.

I watched an episode of “Trauma” and i thought it was horrible, so i’m not suprised that it’s cancelled.

Not a huge fan of “Chuck” but I have seen a few episodes and the show looked pretty good. NBC should really commit to a show for a change. (My Name is Earl!)
NBC should promote “Chuck” more and keep it on the same night every week,,,
Also some fans will bail on a show if they perceive the networks going to cancel it midway through the season.
NBC needs to stand behind shows like “Chuck” that have a convention fringe fanbase.

At this point it seems like the show is hanging in the balance of whether some NBC exec has a bad day in traffic. ^
(Trauma,,,lol)
Ya know, who wants to come home from a crap day at work and watch a show called “Trauma”. I just left the trauma filled workday…

Also the billboards were comically bad.

Not huge fan of CHUCK. Actually i liked Trauma. Sad to see it go, but what else can you do. I guess NBC wanted more ratings for a show on at 9pm on a Monday. Your actually going up against MNF what do you expect.

Andy S says:

@anthony…

How about a show that hasn’t been done a million times before. Trauma was ER in an ambulance.

Tylor says:

Love Chuck , its just a fun show to watch.

Saw the first episode of Trauma and thought the first half was great, but then it seemed to fall off a cliff and I said this show is dead in the water. The second episode confirmed it.

Chuck is a great show, NBC just needs to leave it alone for a while. Last year they yanked it around so much that it was hard to keep up with.

NBC’s psychotic scheduling has made me quit watching a number of their shows. After all, why get interested in something if you know it’s going to get canceled.
Chucks return does redeem NBC a little bit in my eye’s. But they still have to leave it alone for a while.

J-banks says:

ahhhh….I cant belive there canceling Trauma, I love the show, I watched every episode since the first. Hell of a good show, you guys should gave it a watch.

JoeJoe says:

You know if I was programming at NBC I would put the second season of “Southland” in “Trauma”’s place after those last seven episodes are aired.

Zeus says:

That’s really good news but I wonder how it’s gonna affect the quality of Chuck.
